I’m sitting at the Houston airport, scrolling through 300 photos of a great time at the Stampin’ Up conference! I’m hoping this post formats correctly from my phone with all the photos.
9 of our amazing team of “Roadies” attended and it a super fun time! Getting a hard copy of the new annual catalog, seeing new products, seeing creative demonstrations, and seeing long time friends is a great vacation, too!
Pardon the lighting as I took this in the auditorium that day. It’s not our typical “stampy” cover….the intention of the photo is to create together and share card making with friends. I don’t stamp outside in a garden much but as long as the inside products are good, I can live with it:)
Great new bundles coming in the next Annual catalog! This one is a favorite of mine. My grandfather built planes and was a pilot so it will be first on my list.
Love the banner! we watched a fantastic demo by Marisa Alvarez. She created gorgeous samples!

Seeing the new In Colors is always a perk of attending OnStage. These 5 new colors will be active for just 2 years, more like fashion colors. They are bringing back Pretty in Pink, so if you have been around SU a long time like me , you may still have it!
This was a quick stamp and scribble I did of the new colors at our make and take event. We will have Peach Pie, Summer Splash, (looks a little like coastal cabana to me), Shy Shamrock (possibly like cucumber crush?), and Petunia Pop (maybe a lighter Berry Burst or darker freesia?). Once I’m home I’ll compare the colors to those retired colors and report back. I especially like the 2 greens!
You might have noticed nthe 6th color, an extra neutral called Basic Beige. To me it looks like Sahara Sand and River Rock had a baby ink! I think it will be very useful. We are wondering if Very Vanilla
Speaking of inks , if you have any of these In Colors, they will be retiring soon. They were in the last 2 years. Be sure you email me soon if you need the reinkers or more cardstock.

It feels great to be back in the USA although Iceland will be one of my favorite trips I’ve experienced so far. It was almost like being on another planet…the ice, mountains, hot springs, colorful skies, black beaches…all spectacular! Coming back to ‘earth’ and stamping felt like home, too:)

Hi all! Before I start my stamping post, I won’t be back here til March 2nd. I’m heading to Iceland tomorrow! It has been on our bucket list for a while. I will still have email but there is a 6 hour time difference so I may not answer back as quickly as usual!

If you have an extra 5 minutes to make a card, stitching the Everyday Details dies adds a nice, textured accent!
The holes are large enough to make it easy “sewing’ with a big needle.
I bought the Everyday Details bundle because I love layering shapes and now I like them even more.

I used this sheet of designer paper from the Zinnias, which is so pretty and if you cut it into 4″ x 6″ pieces,

Against the night sky, they are magical! My inspiration for this week’s video using a bundle called Lighting the Way. Thank you to Mary in Toronto for requesting it!
The tricky part was to leave a white glow around the fireflies….
