What is retiring, what isn’t….the Official List

This may be the longest post ever but necessary, since there has been confusion with the retiring lists this year!  Lots of stuff on the list that isn’t really retiring, just changing item numbers or bundle price changes.  Oy.  So here is a new post that will hopefully clear it all up.  Stampin’ Up will usually start putting things on sale in May.

Annual Catalog + Occasions Catalog Retired List PDF
(thanks to my friend and team member,
Janet Munden, who revised the pdf to be more clear)
If it is highlighted in green, it means it’s a current bundle for 10% off but will be in the new catalog separately, not a bundle discount price.

For my visual shoppers like me, here are all the thumbnails per category
like stamps, inks and accessories!

I removed the french language stamps, the duplicate wood mount stamps and
the bundled stamps/dies that are carrying over but not at 10% off (since they will technically still be available in new catalog)

They will make the stamp sets until May 24th, then it’s while supplies last.

You can click on any photo to take you to the store and larger photo

Here are the retiring stamp sets!
If you see one in bold font, it’s one of my favorites or best sellers.

Peep Show and a few stampin’ updates!

Maybe not the peep show you thought of at first:)
I created this little peep window box using the Share What you Love
Designer paper.  These peeps come 2 rows high, sort of an odd size
so I just cut the 12 x 12 paper in 1/2 at 6″ and then scored it 3-1/2, 4-1/2 and 10″.  then added a 2″ x 6″ piece of window sheet for the peeps.
Then I added a 3/4″ x 6″ strip along the bottom edge of window sheet so I could add the 3/4″ circles and brads for a closure. Easy!

The peeps just slide out the side or untie the string to open.

I really wanted to eat one but they are a present for our 5 yr old niece:)

I’m on my way to Charlotte this weekend for the Stampin’ Up On Stage convention for demonstrators!  We will get to see the upcoming Annual catalog early and play with new products.  Always a fun time!  You can follow me on my Stamping School Facebook page for daily updates as we are allowed to share it all!

April 15th:    Annual Catalog and Occasions Catalog Retiring List
Stampin’ Up retires about 1/2 of the catalog to make room for new!

Stampin’ Up Trimmer is retiring
From what I can gather, the manufacturer either can’t make them anymore for us or there are issues.  Either way, we will have a new cutter sometime this year.  If you bought the trimmer from me, email me to get some replacement blades while they are in stock.

New Annual Catalogs Mailed out in May!
If you have ordered from me in the last 6 months,
you will automatically get one from me!

If  your address has changed or you do not need one from me,
email me with your update.

If you are new here and would like to be on my customer list,
email me with your name and address.
(demonstrators, you will get a complimentary copy from SU)

That’s all for now!   Go stamp something!

Organize your crafting space!

Your space. Your way.
That’s the tagline for the new storage pieces by Stampin’ Up!
I think it’s a great they are offering something for home organization.  There’s a lot of options out there but I like that these are customized to our new ink pads.
Whether you own 5 ink pads or all of our colors,
you can customize the cubes to fit your workspace!

These are available today for demonstrators AND customers!
You will also see them in the upcoming annual catalog in June!

I ordered mine today so I’ll report back after I play with them. I love that they are white!  I have some storage trays for my blends that are black and show every speck of dust.

Here are the individual pieces available:

** I bought 2 of these to hold all of our blends!    Each pack holds 30 markers.

These 2 are lids that can go on top of the other pieces.
The topper holds stuff, the lid just covers.

Here is a cute stop-motion video from the home office:

Stampin’ Up also created a Configuration chart that may help figure out what you need for your space.  You can download/view it HERE

Helpful Q&A about the new Storage:

Will old-design Stampin’ Pads fit in the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays?
No, the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays are designed to fit our new-design Stampin’ Pads only.

How high can I stack storage trays?
We stacked up to 50 storage trays without any issues, BUT we would not recommend stacking that high. While our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are sturdy, the higher you stack them, the less stable they’ll become.

Can I mount my Storage by Stampin’ Up! products on the wall
No, our modular storage products are designed to sit on a table (or similar flat surface).

How should I use the Open Storage Cube?
The Open Storage Cube can be used to hold any miscellaneous items like ribbon, embellishments, and smaller sized punches.  We are sure you will find it useful!

Can I mix and match Storage by Stampin’ Up! products?
Yes! Our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are modular and designed with customization in mind.

Do I need a Storage Lid for each 5-tray stack?
No. The Storage Lid covers the top of Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cubes, so you need only one per storage configuration.

Are Storage by Stampin’ Up! products free-standing or stacked?
Both. We designed these modular storage products to be free-standing and stackable, so you can customize your crafting space to work best for you.

Will there be expansions to the Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line in the future?  Possibly!  We’d love your suggestions!

Are there any Storage by Stampin’ Up! bundles available?
Not currently because the pieces are so versatile to each individual’s space!

How many Stampin’ Ink Refills can I store in the Storage Topper?
You can store up to 20 Stampin’ Ink Refills (or other small items) in the Storage Topper.

Are ink pads difficult or easy to remove from Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays?
Easy! When you insert an ink pad into a storage tray, a small portion of the ink pad will stick out. We designed it this way, so your ink pads will be both secure and easy to access.

What material do you use to make Storage by Stampin’ Up! products?
Our modular storage products are made with white, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic, which is a lightweight and durable material.

Once I get them in my hands, I’ll do another post!

Next stop in April is our Annual Catalog Retirement list!
I think it will be around April 15th like last year.
I’m heading to Charlotte, NC on April 13th
for the Stampin’ Up On Stage event where we will get to see the new catalog!
Always an exciting time to see the new products and demo friends.

Go Stamp Something!
