Foiled again….

Tomorrow is another fun day because the 4 new Sale-A-Bration items will be ready to order! See my post from last week HERE to see details. I’ll post tomorrow with the live links.  Thanks to all who have ordered in the last 2 weeks!  It seems the Frogs, the Foils and the Lily stamps have been the hot freebies and my guess it’s because the framelits are coming for those to purchase on March 1st!

I needed a quick card for a friend so I grabbed the Lovely Lipstick foil from the Sale-a-Bration freebies. (free with a $50 purchase)  Yes, we can just use cardstock to make a frame but this crazy-shiny foil is SO pretty!

I can’t even get a good pic of it because it’s so shiny and glossy!
This pic is dulled down a little so you can see the detail of it embossed.
It comes in 2 colors, Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick.  8 sheets, 12×12, 4 each color.

I used the bundle, Amazing Life, that has the stamp set and the Stitched Rectangle framelits.  Even if you don’t get the stamp set, the framelits are a staple for every craft room!

Side Note:  Have you seen the Lace folder from the Occasions catalog?  I used it on the Lipstick foil above. Really pretty on this card by Stampin’ Up.

I’ll be back tomorrow to post the 4 new Sale a Bration items!
Many of you have emailed me your orders early – thank you and I will put those in as soon as ordering opens!

NEW Sale-A-Bration items and More!

Wow!  A LOT to tell you about today!

First, Stampin’ Up announced the 2nd release of freebies for Sale-a-Bration, their free-gift-with purchase promo going now on until March 31st.

We have added 4 more freebies that will be available beginning February 15th!
(2nd release items are always while supplies last)

See the 2nd release brochure HERE!

There is a NEW embossing folder called Country Floral.  See it in the background of the card above?   It will be a Level 1, free with a $50 order.

This stamp set is called All Adorned. It will be a Level 1, free with a $50 order.  It was created to be used with the Stamparatus but since it’s photopolymer, it will be easy to stamp traditionally, too.

I can see how this will add an extra elegance to the corners of our cards!

This next BUNDLE will be a Level 2, free with a $100 order.  Stamps AND 12×12 designer paper together.   I personally cannot wait to get my hands on these!  The stamps are rubber, etched to give that hand-painted look!

The Designer paper has the same hand painted look!

See the coordinating framelits above?
Those can be purchased separately to cut out the images! (see further down in my post)

Here is a video from the Stampin’ Up home office showing this bundle in detail:

In addition to the new freebies, there are also several NEW items to purchase!
These will be available beginning March 1st unless you are a demonstrator, then we can order them starting today. That means they CAN be added to a starter kit if you want to join (or re-join)!   $99 + tax and free shipping, you choose $175 of product of your choice!

See the new products in the flyer HERE!

I’m super excited about these because they coordinate
with the current Sale-A-Bration freebies!
(and they will be super useful to have, especially if you already have the stamp sets!)

The So Hoppy Together is adorable and if you own it, you probably said ‘I wish there was a framelit to cut these frogs out!’  (I know I said it many times)
Hop Around Framelits Dies  $27   #1500073

If you have the Level 2 Lasting Lily set, you may want the framelits!

Lily Framelits Dies   $27  #150071

This Level 1 stamp set wasn’t my favorite, but now it might be with the addition of the framelits!  I love the cake stand and dome as well as the candles!

Call Me Cupcake Framelits Dies  $27  #150072

New sentiments stamp set!   #150069   $17
The stamp set is called More Than Words, photopolymer, and meant to coordinate with ALL of the Sale-A-Bration sets.

The Story Label Punch looks like a really nice, large one for sentiments!   I ordered it today, so I’ll be able to tell you more about it once I get it.
#150076  $18.00

Remember the free bundle I posted?  The paper and stamps?
Here are the framelits that coordinate with them.
Four Seasons Framelits Dies #150074   $28

March is going to be a lot of fun!
Remember these are limited release items, so when they are gone, they are gone.
If you want them, get ’em starting March 1st!

Altered Chocolate Heart Box

Store bought chocolates can be pretty with a little hand-crafted addition!
I wanted to dress up this nice, heart box filled with 3 chocolates:

It’s smaller, about 5″ and just the right little bit of something sweet to give someone special!   I picked mine up at the grocery store for $1.   I’ve seen them at Walgreens for $1.29.  The box is a pretty color already, almost a Lovely Lipstick! (the photo on the right is from Russell Stover, showing all 3 box lid patterns)

I added some of the designer paper from the Stampin’ Up Occasions catalog, called
ALL MY LOVE, which has Lovely Lipstick as the red color.

I used the heart framelits set in the Occasions catalog, called
Be Mine from the Meant to Be Bundle:

Any heart framelits will work if they are a standard heart shape, it’s an easy box to add to!

I made my own arrow from a 1/4″ strip of silver foil paper.  It worked for just tucking it behind the hearts!

I added a word framelit from the Stampin’ Up Well Said collection to save stamping time.   I’m loving these and they are the perfect size!   About 1/2″-3/4″ tall.  ($40 for 24 dies)

—————————————————————————

Hey, don’t forget it’s still SAB (Sale-A-Bration time!)  Best time of the year to rejoin as a demo or join in for the discount while you get $75 free and free shipping!  Yep, it’s true and no commitment to sell, just enjoy the perks like a 20% discount and getting new products early!

The tote option is great but option #1 to get $175 in your choice of stamps/accessories and pay only $99 plus tax AND get free shipping!  It’s $50 more than usual and ends March 31st.  Drop me an email or call me if you want to see if it’s the right fit for you.

Better in Real Life!

Most of the time, I like the Stampin’ Up kits. They do a good job for providing easy cards without breaking the bank and save time.
This time I LOVE the kit!

It’s called Incredible like you and is in the new Occasions catalog (Jan – March)
It is an assembly kit with very little stamping, 16 cards and envelopes for only $27
(stamps/ink not included)

Here are some photos of the cards before and after as I made each one!

The kit says you can use Coastal Cabana and Lovely Lipstick ink pads for the sentiments.
You could really just use Old Olive for them all if you have that, since every card has olive in it somewhere.

I really didn’t even need the twine but I made them exactly like the directions said to.   Nice big, glossy photos to follow which was nice!   Oh, be careful on the citrus looking one  – the overlay fits perfectly over the circles –  So flip it over and around until it lines up!

Olive glitter paper was a nice sparkly touch!  It did shed a little green glitter as I worked with it so be sure to have some scrap paper down on your workspace.

My favorite….I could have made 20 of these!  Look how gorgeous the pre-printed cards are and then adding on the laser cut white overlay…love.

LOVE the graperfruit grove envelopes, nice and sturdy as well as a matte plastic/vinyl pouch to store all the cards in!

Here are my 4 designs completed.  The only other tip I have is to use a glue pen or a sponge dauber with a little glue on the edges of the die cuts.  I really only  tacked down the corners a little and the middles.

The recommended stamp set is nice but I think you can substitute lots of sentiments on hand in the punch out labels.    It’s called INCREDIBLE LIKE YOU and is photopolymer (clear) and $17   #148708

If you’d like to see Tanner from the home office show the kit in a video, here it is:

I highly recommend this one!  Demo approved.

If you’d like to order one, you can find them in my online store HERE or you can just drop me an email at Linda@stampingschool.com

Don’t forget Sale-A-Bration is going on thru March 31st!
Free gift with every $50 order

Must Love Dogs…

If love dogs like I do, or know someone who loves dogs, the new Happy Tails stamp set and punch may be for you!   I loved playing around with all the different color combinations:

Two-Step stamping with the dots and patches helps customize your dog to many different colors or stamp on card stock for a solid color pooch!

Item #150631   The photopolymer stamp set and punch bundle is only $31.50!

I created this one about a month ago and over on Stamping School, I did another 2 videos using this fun bundle. One was a sympathy card and one a trick for mirror image punching.  (customers and team get access to my video library free)    For this card, I made a happy birthday themed card with his special delivery!

And on the inside, he’s burying his presents behind his dog house!

Fussy cutting the bones was the hardest part – we need a punch for the bones!

Best not forget the cat people!  I’m a little allergic but love cats, too. I had a cat for a year in Michigan, a HUGE black cat named Chuck.  I was watching him for a friend for a year. Cats make you work a little hard for their affection but when you get it, it’s so worth it!
Nine Lives Stamp set Item #148703  $16
Cat Punch #144666  $$18

The cat punch is in our annual catalog, the stamp set is new so it’s not a bundle price BUT
if you want to order it and you email me, I will give  the bundle price of 31.50, same as the dog bundle.

And by the way, if you haven’t seen this movie from 2005 with John Cusack and Diane Lane, it’s sweet and one of my favorites!  Maybe it was the dog that won me over but I’m a sucker for a romantic comedy.

Remember free-gift-with-purchase is going on now!  Look at all the freebies you can get with your $50 order!    (the last 2 are bigger and free with a $100 0rder)
AND a fantastic join special now, too!  You can read all about it HERE if you missed my last post!)
