I admit it. I bought these dies for the cute padlock and keys.
I’ve always loved collecting old keys, digging through my dad’s workshop to find a skeleton key and wonder what lock it opened.

The little Suitcase Treat boxes are a great value and cute !

Hi all! Have you made a step card yet? This fun fold has been around for ages in various forms, like a side step or a front step card. Today I created a larger version, 5″ x 7″, which steps it up a notch!

Sometimes it’s so pretty I think it could be art on the wall!
I saw a fun idea to turn thrift store art into a Faux oil painting by adding modge podge and so i tried it on this designer paper:
I wish you could feel the texture!
For the card, I used the retired folder, Painted Texture 3D, to add more texture to the designer paper. I don’t think it is necessary – the modge podge adds enough! There is a current embossing folder that would work well called Plaster Painting 3D . It’s super sized at 6″ x 8-12″:

Hi all! Changes are coming to our rewards program on April 15th! Good changes overall:)
Currently, only orders at $150 or more earn rewards (freebies)
The new program rewards all orders starting at $20! Any order $20 or more earns 10% rewards that are tied to your email – you can save them up and spend them on whatever you like. (The rewards are good for a year and the program knows to use the oldest rewards first)
What to do before April 15th? Be sure you have a stampin’ up account with a login and password. I can help walk you thru it if you don’t have one. On to this week’s project!! What used to be called the ‘clearance rack’ is now called Last Chance Products. One of my favorite things to do each year when the new In Colors arrive is to stamp and compare!
How close are the new ink colors to those we have had in the past?
Stampin’ Up adds 5 new colors each year to help our projects stay on trend. These special colors will be available two years. Many brands follow Pantone.com for color trends in home decor, fashion and yes, crafting colors!
Sometimes we just need a new color of cardstock or ribbon or a spash on a new accessory to freshen things up.
Sometimes the colors are close to past In Colors and we can get by with an ink pad we already have!
If you have collected SU colors over the years, you just might have one that works well with the new cardstocks.

The new Stampin’ Up Annual catalog will begin on May 6th.
Your catalogs should arrive by the 2nd week in May – fingers crossed!
ps. Cardstock colors are jumping up in price quite a bit in the new catalog.

Hi all! I’m back from Raleigh, NC, where a few thousand demonstrators got together to see the upcoming new Annual catalog! Now that I’m home, I need to really sit through it and look at everything. I see SU did listen to us about some suggestions since the last annual catalog. There is an “N” next to all the new items, darker type,
more descriptions and large photos of designer papers.
The new catalog will be mailed out in mid-late April and begins May 6th!
If you have ordered from me in the last 6 months, I’ll automagically send you one. If your address has changed since last year, be sure I have it!
September 2024 marked my 25th anniversary with Stampin’ Up! It’s hard to believe—it feels like only a decade ago. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed meeting so many wonderful stampers and fellow demonstrators, creating great memories along the way. A little more wear and tear on this stamping body but I”m still stampin’!
It’s always exciting to see the new In Colors that SU releases each year! These fashion colors will be around 2025-2027. You might recognize a returning color, Strawberry Slush, the hot rose color in the 4th column!
The Cloud Cover color reminds me of Bordering Blue, for those that have been for over 20 years. Sadly the ink pad was not ready for our preorder, it didn’t match to the paper as well as it should have, so they are fixing it.
The yellow is called Darling Duckling, a mashup of Hello Honey and Summer starfruit maybe?
The very dark blue is my favorite! Darker than our Night of Navy and called Secret Sea.
The orangy color is lighter than pumpkin pie, darker than grapefruit. It’s called Timid Tiger. (and I keep calling it Tony Tiger)
We had prizes and stamping and lots of laughs!
( love the Peaceful View stamp set!)
LOTS of new things coming! Some will be in the annual catalog, some will be online and not in print.
Do you love birds? This set is double sided, one side solid for stamping the shadow and the other side line art.
Who remembers Washi tape? How about WIDE washi that matches dies?
I’m getting some fun ideas in my head for these….
Rebecca Santos demonstrated an really fun bundle called Notes & Totes!
Emily Kimmey presented a BIG bundle!
The Party Banner dies are SO big – the largest is 7″ x 5-3/8″ and there are 20 dies in the set!
There is also a BIG alphabet die set, the letters are almost 3″ tall. I think those that like to make banners for occasions but do not have an e-cutter, this will be great.
Here are a few swaps I liked from the board!
Getting together with my team, seeing old friends and making new friends is always the BEST part!

Hi all! I had a request for an Easter bunny card this week and I love a fun fold, too!
This is an older fun fold that works for just about any theme, shape or color combo.
it folds flat and doesn’t use more than the usual amount of card stock than a regular card. And it locks in place to hold the gate fold closed.
