More of my August Swaps from my long distance swap group!
Stamped by Carol Gilmore. Beautiful colors including Old Olive, Ruby Red, Crushed Curry and Chocolate Chip. A perfect card for fall and Thanksgiving using the stamp set Autumn Days.
Another Autumn Days card stamped by Susan Gudmunson. The main card is Always Artichoke, then some designer paper, then the Top Note die cut in Mellow Moss and the oval die cut in vanilla card stock.
Beary Cute! Stamped by Sharon Skelton. Pretty in Pink card stock and pink taffeta ribbon with a SU flower brad. I thought the little designer paper strip accent was clever! The Build-A-Bear stamp set called Bearly Best Friends will be available Sept 1st in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Mini catalog.
Stamped by ? No name on the back but I’m sure one of the girls will email me and let us know! Lovely card made with Rich Razzleberry and Cottage Wall designer paper. The little mini library clip on the focal image is really sweet.

These are some of my favorite swaps I received over the last 2 months. Most are created by a talented group of stampers out of state and we swap monthly. (Thank you, Rhea for organizing us each month!) I love getting them in the mail!
Stamped by Sharon Burkert. The cute stamp set is from the Holiday Mini catalog (avail Sept 1) called Twick or Tweet. The Basic Grey card stock background is stamped with the coordinating wheel called Haunting Hill. Don’t you love the wide striped ribbon? It is 1-1/4″, 10 yards for 8.95 in 4 colors. Look at the fun detail! She used Stampin’ Up new designer paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog called Night & Day. It has the cool houndstooth design she used for the bird. She cut out the pumpkin treat basket and used Crystal Effects on it for the glossy shine.
This is such a cool card! Stamped by Carol Gilmore. The frayed black grosgrain ribbon adds the right pirate feel and the skull is stamped on black card stock with white pigment ink. The stamp set is Pirate Time (also can be part of tteh Pirate Party Kit) The black card stock is cut at the bottom and layered on red card stock .

1At our annual convention a few weeks ago in Utah, Stampin’ Up had a display of artwork from our Spanish catalog. It is a beautiful catalog with 47 pages of ideas and projects! I thought you might enjoy seeing the samples and I wish I knew who created them to give them credit. I’m not sure if they were stamped by a demonstrator or the home office. These fun wall art frames were created by Jessica Jakobsson, one of the talented demonstrators in our group here in Florida. She used our Stampin’ Up On Board Chipboard, So Tweet. The designer paper is Razzleberry Lemonade I think. (from our new catalog) They are pretty good sized, maybe 12 x 12? I forgot to ask her where they would be hanging or are they a gift but either way, really cute!

Cyndra used a little puffy paint or liquid applique (we don’t sell it anymore but you can get it at the craft stores) for the cupcake icing. I like how each cupcake has a different color liner! Crazy for Cupcakes is the stamp set name.

Stamped by Tracy Maikrzed from Shelby Township, MI. Stamp Sets Trendy Trees. Main card is actually Amethyst altho it looks darker here. Ink and paper colors are Regal Rose, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst. She versamarked the entire square after stamped and used Irridescent Ice embossing powder to glitter the squares. I received these lovely swaps a few weeks ago from a talented group of stampers I swap ideas with and thought I’d share a few…
Stamped by Denice Marshall. All Supplies Copyright Stampin' Up!
This one is made using the Stampin’ Up level 1 hostess set, God’s Beauty. Denice used Pale Plum as the card base, then added a layer of Perfect Plum card stock. She Sizzix’d up the card with Frame Oval Scallop and our exclusive Little Leaves sizzlit. So pretty!

Rhea always does such elegant cards. The main card is Kraft (which I need to use more of – love it) Basic Black card stock on top, a little bit of white punched with our new Eyelet Border punch. Urban Oasis DSP on the bottom stamped in Kiwi with the Fifth Ave Floral set. The Kraft Taffeta ribbon ties it all together!

It’s hard to see here, but the main card is Vanilla and then layered with a Sahara Sand embossed card stock layer. Then the eyelet border punched in Chocolate Chip, a strip of Olive Patterns DSP. The stamp set is Thoughts and Prayers, set of 8 on page 58 of the big catalog. It is the perfect set for sympathy and get well sentiments.

Mary stamped the flower on shimmer white card stock. The flower is from “Wonderful Watercolors” and I didn’t even know it was in the big catalog! She started with a Basic Black card, added a white layer, then another black layer card stock. The blue paper is lighter than it appears here and is from the Parisian Breeze Specialty DSP. I love how she tied 2 white organza ribbons around the card for an extra special touch!
