Sometimes we all need a little jump start to creativity! One new addition to the annual catalog is a page with card sketches. They are SO useful as a jumping off point when you sit down to make a card. How many times have you needed a card idea only to disappear for an hour online to find an idea? (yes, I can raise my hand on this one too)
On page 22 at the bottom of the page, there are 22 sketches. (did they plan that? 22 sketches on page 22?) Anyway, this week I used 2 sketches with 2 different ideas each.

Hi! This week I got to play with the Frames & Flowers designer paper. It is unique in that there are 3 sheets of die cut pieces you can punch out! Love not having to fussy cut:)
It also has 3 sheets of regular designer paper that are double sided.

Hi all! This week I’m using one of my favorite die sets, Basic Borders!

This pretty designer paper will be retiring. It’s called Fresh As A Daisy, 12 x 12, and I used this sheet to make the card below. No stamping needed except for the sentiment. I didn’t use the border dies on this one but I liked it so wanted to share:
Well, a little stamping on the inside of the card:) The sentiment is from a stamp set not in a catalog called Comforting thoughts. It says what is hard to say when someone has cancer or is sick.

Hi all!
I’ve got an easy layout this week!
Not necessarily a new technique to use 1/4″ strips to add a little extra somethin’ without heavy layers.

This layout uses a thick white card base and strips plus adding the designer paper pieces so the card is lightweight!
I used Playing in the Rain bundle along with the Bright & Beautiful 6×6 paper
For this landscape version, I used the Fresh As a Daisy paper along with Sending Smiles.

This week I had a request for an oldie fun fold called a Wiper Card.
I hadn’t filmed a video for one of those in 10 years so it was time !
I created a double pop up, one for the cherry on top and one for the sentiment.

Hi all! Another project from our annual catalog preorder for demonstrators – it’s called Circle Sayings and is bundled with a 2-3/8″ circle punch. It’s great to have a big circle punch again!
If you like shaker cards, this is an easy layout and be sure to try my trick using 2 window sheets instead of one:

My assignment this week was a request from Caroline who asked which bundle from the Regency Suite is better?
I actually liked using them both but one stretched ahead by a nose for me!

The Regency Park Suite is in the soon-to-be-retired Stampin’ Up mini catalog. The 2 bundles are carrying over to the new annual catalog in May but not at the 10% off bundle price. The Designer paper will NOT be carrying over and I highly recommend getting that if you get the bundle!
