My assignment this week was a request from Caroline who asked which bundle from the Regency Suite is better?
I actually liked using them both but one stretched ahead by a nose for me!

The Regency Park Suite is in the soon-to-be-retired Stampin’ Up mini catalog. The 2 bundles are carrying over to the new annual catalog in May but not at the 10% off bundle price. The Designer paper will NOT be carrying over and I highly recommend getting that if you get the bundle!

Shiny, new paper is my focus this week!
It is called Naturally Gilded Specialty designer paper, shiny and in 3 metallic colors that compliment lots of projects.
Not available in any catalog or flyer, just a fun new online extra addition!

I thought it would be fun to use each style of this paper in a card and it did not disappoint!
(except it is hard to photograph with all the shine)
I had to use my iphone to shoot this week’s video, still working on my camera issue….

Above is my version and below is the Stampin’ Up inspiration! I used Balmy Blue and they used Pool party with the copper/white paper. Watch the video for a little trick for the inside!
I cut the flowers from the Awash with Beauty paper – no stamping except the sentiment
For the silver/white paper, I brushed on a little Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay for a soft glow.
The silver pattern resists the ink nicely!
For the gold/vanilla paper, I added a few gold foil butterflies using the Brilliant Wings dies.
This was so hard to photograph!

HI there!
Three of you asked me if I would do a video using the Songbird Builder punch
and since I’d recently got it FREE with my last Sale-A-Bration order, I did!
I don’t know why I didn’t get this cute bundle when the annual catalog came out last year.
I love birds and having a punch instead of dies is nice and easy.
The Songbird punch is free until the end of February with a $50 order and so is the Clouds folder so I used them both.
(It’s hard to capture the clear embossing folder so I added navy paper inside for the photo)
You don’t need the stamp set but I think it’s worth it to buy it while the punch is free. The stamp set is only $19 by itself.

The inside…..more leaves and another quote bubble because I kept getting my inky fingers on the paper!

Hi all!

If I had to choose between cats or dogs, I’d choose dogs but only because I’ve never really owned a cat. I’ve roommates years ago with cats and our family has always owned dogs. (I do have a faint memory of a cat when I was little named Fat Head)
This year a feral black cat has come to our back door and I named him Cricket. I can’t get close to him but this coming week I’ll try to catch him and have him taken to the vet, checked out, neutered and let him go. It’s the responsible thing to do altho I’m not looking forward to it and Cricket may never show up at my door again after!
Anyway, that’s why cats have been on my mind AND this stamp set is CUTE!!

This week I chose to work with the Favored Flowers Sale a Bration paper, which is free with a $50 ordering
during January and February:
AND the Sending Support stamp set, which is also a freebie during Sale a Bration!
If you squint, you can see the mitered floral corner, which is only 2 pieces of 1″ designer paper.
It saves paper, it’s easy and looks great! It all started with this card swap I received years ago from Chris Smith:
I loved the simplicity, the white space and the little bit of striped designer paper. I kept her swap all these years because I loved the layout. Here’s another one with multiple offset layers that I created with the Rain or Shine Designer paper:

HI all!
I took last weekend off from uploading a video so I could finish up my Mini Catalog product shares. Thanks to all who particpated again this year! They have all been mailed and should have arrived by today!
This week I created some pretty cards using the Lovely & Lasting punch bundle. This has really been my most used bundle since the new annual catalog started a few months ago!
The 3 cards I created have all the same, basic layout but with some varying techniques.
My favorite might be this Polished Pink/white/Black card with clear embossing powder!

This week I played with 2 new products coming out July 1st!
A new suite called Spendid Days in the July – December (holiday) mini catalog on pages 64-65.
This suite can be all season, and I’m not ready for winter yet!
Sale-A-Bration is also coming July and August! These pretty cards/envelopes will be freebies for a $50 purchase!
I love the delicate details and soft colors. I have rarely used our Soft Sea Foam color…it’s so pretty for summer!
