Sunflower Birthday Pizza Box

I have a lovely friend whose birthday is early November, so the sunflower stamped in fall colors is just perfect for a little somethin’ somethin’ to give her.  The Stampin’ Up Pizza Boxes are so cute and around 3-1/2″, so the tubes fit diagonally in them.

I found these Fall treats at Fresh Market! I was looking for little bits to fill our Treat Tubes. The left bag is little chocolate covered sunflower seeds and the right is Jelly Bellies.  Only 10 jelly beans fit in the tubes so  I went with the seeds instead. Great colors of curry, Cajun and pumpkin!

See the wooden leaf embellishment on the box? I used old olive and a sponge dauber but I actually liked it better in the  natural before I added color! Anyway, I hope she likes it!

Sprig and Ornament Pizza Box Video

I’ve been cutting and packaging up all the Holiday shares and they are ALL mailed!  Thanks to all who participated with me again this year and I really enjoyed putting them together! If you signed up for those, they should be arriving by Thursday or Friday this week.

I LOVE pizza.

Any kind….thin, thick, new york, detroit style, or chicago….I’ll take it all!  There’s a place here in town called Pi-Squared, detroit style pizza and it’s divine! However, I’ve been trying to eat better and cheese and pepperoni are not on the list as often so I have to substitute paper crafting with mini pizza boxes!

These are cute AND sturdy.  And food safe. And require no glue.  win win win!   You can find them on page of the Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog and come 8 in a package for only $6.  They are 3-1/2″ square and 1″ thick when assembled.

These would make a fun gift to add 3×3 cards and envelopes inside the box.  I used the designer paper from the Merry Little Christmas suite and the stamp set Merry Little Labels:

I had a question about how to attach the Green Sprigs and Mini Ornaments on projects like the pizza box so I made a quickie video:

This suite is unexpected in it’s color scheme because it’s just black and olive in color!  But add some sparkle and it quickly becomes a holiday! You can find the suite on pages 10-13 in the Stampin’ up Holiday Catalog:

Here are the supplies I used for the pizza box project!  If you’d like any of them for your own, get in touch or order online by clicking any of the items below:

The Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog Begins Today!

Hi all!  It’s September 1st and we can all order from the new Holiday Catalog today!

Usually I’m super excited for the release of all the pretty and new products but my heart is heavy watching the news of those affected by the storm.  It feels odd to me to talk about the new catalog and stamping when there are so many people without homes and a very long road ahead to get back to a normal life again.  I’m reading amazing stories of strength, perseverance, quiet heroes and unity while nature has been so unkind.  I hear many of you are making cards and helping people (and animals)  in shelters with supplies. Hugs to all.

Now I will put on my Stampin’ Up ‘hat’ and tell you all about what’s new!  The Holiday catalog begins today through January 2nd.  It really IS a great catalog:) It’s loaded with some creative dies and stamps we haven’t carried before, which is always fun. There’s a LOT in there!  If your list is long, maybe someone else might want to put a few things in your stocking?  Fill out this wish list and get it back to me – I’ll help your people get it under the tree!  Download wishlist HERE

There are many 10% off bundles with stamps/dies or punches!  (look for the little ornament bubbles in the catalog to get the special item numbers for bundles)  If you haven’t watched the new Holiday Videos from Stampin’ Up, take a stroll through and get familiar with the new products and get some inspiration at the same time:

Linda’s Holiday Catalog Shares are Open!

**Updated Sept 1st!  Round 1 is closed and Round 2 is open until September 4th if you want to join my Holiday shares!

The  Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog is FULL of exciting and new stamps, accessories and papers!  Fall, Halloween, Winter, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year are all in there and the catalog will begin for ordering on September 1st.

I hear my customers have been getting their copies in mailboxes all over the US!  If you would like one (and you are not a demonstrator already) just email me with your mailing address and I’ll mail you one – it’s so much better to have a copy in your hands than looking at it online on Sept 1st!

If you would like a little bit of all the papers, ribbons and accessories then join one or all of my shares.  A product share means that I’ll divide the paper in 6×6 pieces between 8 people, for example, so you get one 6×6 sheet of each paper rather than having to buy a whole pack.  You pre-order the product shares you want, I’ll order it on Sept 1st, and then I’ll cut and separate all the pieces for you.  After that I package them up in my clear acetate boxes to keep them organized and pretty and mail them to you!  It takes approx 2 weeks to receive your shares in the mail.

I hear that some of you may prefer just the paper and some may not prefer Halloween.  My ‘a la carte’ ordering of the shares will help you customize exactly what you’d like!

How to Order by August 31st to be in round 1!

As a SU Demonstrator, I have some guidelines to follow and cannot link directly to a payment/ordering page.  Please email me directly at

New Deals on the Clearance Rack Today!

Hi all!  Popping in to tell you that there are new items listed on the SU Clearance Rack! These are products from last season that are new but retired but Stampin’ Up has some extra left over and offers them at a discount!

A few HOT items that I think might go fast:

Candle Border Punch  Price: $22.00 $13.20

The stamp set that went with this set is gone BUT the basket, grass and eggs are really cute and still work great without a stamp set!

Basket Builder Framelits Dies   Price: $31.00 $18.60

Stamps are gone for these dies also but I rarely used the set!  In fact, if you search for succulents stampin’ up images, you will find stamping them first really wasn’t necessary to create gorgeous succulents!

Succulent Framelits Dies   #142757     Price: $33.00 $19.80

These are just a few!  Go to my Stampin’ Up store and browse through the deals!  Email me with item numbers or just place your order online if you see something you want.

Oh, by the way !   Many of you have asked if I will be doing a Holiday catalog paper/accessories share.  Yes I will!  Per SU policy, I cannot take payments for those until AUG 25th, so I will post those closer to that date.

Not So Christmas Card….

It’s been gorgeous here on the mountain this week!  Cool mornings, warm days and cool evenings.  I thought I’d take my card pic outside today since it’s an outside kind of card.  I needed a card for a guy, who loves nature and deer….this one was perfect.  It’s a  Christmas set but he won’t know that!

I used the Carols of Christmas framelits called the Card Builder Framelits.   This bundle will be in the upcoming Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog, which debuts Sept 1 but you can get it early in August!  It’s on sale for customers during August as a special promotion.

The Holiday catalog is really fantastic and you will love LOTS in it!  This bundle is a great one and being able to get it early is great if you are looking to start creating your projects early this year!

During August, new recruits can add ANYTHING from the Holiday catalog to their starter kit!  Choose $125 of product for only $99 + tax and free shipping!  Just contact me to show you how to add those new products when you sign up.

Here is a video from the home office showing the whole bundle:

Enjoy your day and Go Stamp Something!

Elephants, Tigers and a few Holiday Sneak Peeks……

Holiday sneak peek in July?  Well, why not!  On the SU Thailand trip, we were thrilled to see the upcoming Holiday catalog early AND every night, we got a pillow gift with new holiday bundles!

Every year I think they can’t top the last Holiday catalog and then they DO!  I can’t wait for you to see it!

The Stampin’ Up incentive trips are mostly vacation but there is a room we can sneak into with some samples and a few projects to create when we have time.  Here is one of our make and takes.  I ended up changing mine from the crumb cake card base to early espresso so it would have more contrast. Here is the SU sample:

And here is mine that I tweaked a little.  I also added an espresso card stock panel down the middle so the foil snowflake would stand out since it’s so pretty!

The designer paper is divine! Copper and Silver patterns….wait til you see it in person!

These laser cut, foil snowflakes will come in gold and silver – so pretty and ready to use!

Stampin’ Up gave us our own hard copy of the Holiday catalog early!  Mine is well read already LOL   If you have ordered from me in the last 6 months, you will get one automagically from me. If you aren’t sure when you last ordered or are new here and want to be on my customer list, be sure to email me at with your snail mail address!   I’ll be sending them out mid August.

The Holiday Catalog begins August 1st for demonstrators and September 1st for customers.

If you would like to get the holiday products early, consider being a demonstrator in August.   You can be a hobby shopper, get a 20% discount and place your own orders.  You can choose $125 of new Holiday products for your starter kit and pay only $99 plus tax and get free shipping.  Then you can continue placing orders on your own as you like!  Contact me to chat and see if it’s a good option for you.

Most of you followed our trip on my Facebook page but for those that didn’t, here are a few pictures our trip!  If you hover over the photos with your cursor or tap on the photos, there are captions:

What an amazing trip to Thailand! It was FAR from home, quite hot and the time difference was around 11-1/2 hours I think.  Matt and I extended our trip to include 3 days in Bangkok also were we saw golden temples, visited the floating markets, ate exotic fruits and even rode a tuk-tuk!  We did a LOT in 3 days!

Then on to Phuket for the main Stampin’ Up incentive Trip!  Stampin’ Up is so generous and after experiencing 13 trips, this one was no exception.  Gorgeous Resort and really lovely employees.  We had a one bedroom loft on the water and even an outdoor shower!

We made some memories at an Elephant Sanctuary where the elephants in their natural element.  These were rescued elephants from the trekking industry, where people used to ride them. We fed them thai bananas, washed them, and gave them lots of love:)

We also stopped at a Tiger sanctuary, where we were able to go into the areas with them (and 2 trainers) to pet them.  They have been raised since birth there and no, they weren’t drugged but very docile in the mornings.  (the government actually does random testing on them to protect them from drugs and cruelty)  It’s been a dream for Matt to see a tiger close up and we sure did!  We were instructed not to pet their heads (that means play) and to pet firmly or they might think it’s a fly and swat us!

Thanks for stopping by!
