I’m looking at my kitchen counter that’s been taken over by antibiotics, Robitussin, Sudafed and Vick’s Puffs (which is the best thing that’s happened to tissue in a decade, I might add) and feeling like I need to look at my swaps again from Leadership. Swaps always make me feel better!
This is one of my favorites. Stamped by Barbara Dykhouse from NJ. Faux torn paper with the sponging and using the Take Care stamp set on page 92. I haven’t used that set much and this will help me get it out of the box! The hearts are from a stamp set in the Occasions catalog called Language of Love page 25, which didn’t impress me much in the book but like it here.
I see a lot of gold in the swaps this year. This card doesn’t photograph well but very pretty with the gold washi tape. Stamped by Sue Manlove from Sebring FL . She stamped with the gold Encore pad using Gorgeous Grunge and Lacy & Lovely.
Gold and Espresso color combo is elegant. Angela Oglesby from WV stamped this pretty card using the new Starburst Sayings in the Occasions catalog, page 34. Using the 1-3/4″ circle punch instead of the coordinating framelits gives a smooth circle finish, which is nice. Love the sequin trim!
This has been the hit of my swap load! Every customer picks this one up and asks if it is a cupcake liner and yes, it is! If you have the Dress Up framelit die, you should try this one. Created by Jo Rauch.
Diana Tillery made this pretty swap using the Retro Fresh dsp and colors from the Occasions catalog.
How you can not smile when you see this card? He’s so goofy and fun. Created by Karen Duke. This stamp set is not in a catalog, he’s part of an online only set called Monstermaniacs. You can see it online HERE
The one above is created by Cherie Hunt from OH. The one below is by Teresa Buchholz. Both use a stamp set called Follow my Heart, another online set not in a catalog. SU just announced this am that it is sold out except for the wood mount but a very pretty set. The big heart below is called Flowerfull Heart. You can see these online HERE
Connie Scheel from Canada make this one using the Retro Fresh dsp. I love the new Banner Framelits, a must have. At first I thought ‘I don’t need those banner framelits, I do just fine cutting my own’ but they are super convenient and perfect every time.
Stampin’ Up is still giving us Weekly Deals every Tuesday! I post on my Stamping School FB page (be sure you have liked that to get it quickly) or I’ll post when I can here. To see them up close go to my HERE
