I opened up my Watercolor Winter card kit from the Holiday catalog this week and made a bunch of cards!

This is what the projects look like if you follow the directions:

They are wonderful but the biggest complaint I hear is that they are time consuming and tedious with the paint brush watercoloring.

So I decided to throw out the directions, grab a brayer and go my own way!

It’s a long video for me, about 11 minutes but I show what’s in the kit and then the projects:

The 2 below are pretty close to the original kit instructions except I brayered instead of paint the color on:

The one below is not using the kit contents at all but using supplies I had on hand like the woodgrain embossing folder.

The Noel die comes from the Wonderful Wreath framelits. The snowflake is from the snowflake card die cuts.
