I was feeling bright and happy when I made this card so I went with bright and happy colors!
Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Old Olive stamped in a Memento Tuxedo Black outline. The little dots were made with my black marker. I added a black cs oval and the new 3/8″ stitched satin ribbon in basic Black.
If you look closely you can see the new White Perfect Accents. What makes them white is actually an adhesive sticker on the back but if you take off the sticker, they are clear! If you leave them white, they are perfect for coloring with a sharpie or the blendies if you have those.
Back to the stamp set….it’s a really fun 2-Step photopolymer set that’s new in this year’s Stampin’ Up catalog. It’s called Garden In Bloom. (click on pic below to go to my store to see it full size)
The colors reminded me of a Mary Engelbreit fabric or poster like she is known for…
One thing to remember when stamping these flowers is to keep the tab in the same place. It can be hard to line them up when stamping. There is a little point or tab sticking out on the stamp, so if you remember to stamp them both UP for example, you won’t be stuck trying to match up the petals.
The Mini Treat bag die is on sale for $10 off! That’s a pretty good deal if you have been wanting that one. I like that accessories that come with it, like the banner and the heart and star, too.
Linda… What a GREAT fun card!!! Love it… and thanks for the tip to line the flowers up… and I really like your Big Shot cart from the other day… A trip to Ikea is in order for me… it’s a 4 hour drive one way… but I love it… and I get to see my daughter too…. does it roll ok with the wheels just on one end?? Thanks Linda…
Faith
It does roll great! I just pick up the one one and roll it!
