#6!  Half way there with ideas for using the Embellished Ornaments from the Stampin’ Up Catalog.  This one doesn’t use the stamps but rather just the framelit relief as a mask.

To create a mask, cut one of the ornament framelits in a large piece  of card stock vellum.  I go the same size  or larger thank the card for the stencil.  After cutting the ornament from the vellum, add a little 2-way glue around the edges, let it dry, which creates a temporary adhesive for the mask stencil.

Apply the stencil and using a sponge dauber, rub on some Soft Sky ink around the edges.  Keep the middle lighter in color.

Keep the mask stencil on and stamp a few snowflakes and and branches randomly.  I used Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz with the Project Life Hello December photopolymer set.

Remove your mask and embellish!

I mounted it all on a Thick Whisper White card.  Pool Party layer 4″ x 5-1/4″ and the top, stamped layer is 3-3/4″ x 5″.  I added some white seam binding ribbon for a bow.
