I thought I’d whip up a quick card using 2 of the items on this week’s Stampin’ Up Weekly Deals.  Yes, I’m one of those stampers who buy a punch but then forget about actually using it.  It does look nice on my wall:)

This heart border punch punches only one way so you need to plan a bit if you want a border.  It punches at the top.  If you want it at the bottom, you need to add a strip or they will be upside down!

I punched a piece of Farmer’s Market paper along the top, then glued down to the black card layer.  I wrapped 2 rows of the Venetian crochet trim around the top DSP layer.

Nice deal on the hearts border punch if you don’t have it yet.   The In Color blossoms are fun but I find they can be bulky for mailing.  The Venetian Crochet trim is a must have for vintage feel cards like the one I posted above.  I’m stocking up on a few rolls of those!  That Triangle folder…. not my favorite but maybe I haven’t used it as much since there are others I like better:)  If you have done something cool with it, let me know!
