Hi all! Matt and I are on the road today, driving to New Hampshire to see family for the holidays. We usually fly but this year decided to drive. I’ve been wanting to stop in Virginia to do some genealogy so we are breaking the long drive up by stopping there for a few hours. I’m hoping to find some more clues to family history!
Before I left this am, I took photos of a few cards in my mailbox from customers. I love seeing what you do with our Stampin’ Up stamps! I’m sorry I didn’t photograph them all but I was running late packing up. I’m grateful for Verizon hot spot so I can blog from the road!
This beauty is by Claire. Her artwork is perfection and I love the way she embossed the trees from the Wonderland stamp set!
She embossed the trees 2x, once in a glittery silver and again in a clear glitter. Layering the white on silver glimmer paper was just beautiful.
This one is made by Helen, who collage stamped the Winter Wishes stamp set on Crumb Cake, cut it with a framelit, then sponged around the edges with ink. The wood grain stamp background is the perfect compliment!
This is Jackie’s card and what I love about it is the simplicity and the 2 squares anchoring the corners. What a great way to save paper and still give it the extra layer!
Pat loves techniques so when this arrived in my mailbox, I knew it was hers immediately! She used a circle window and layered gold and silver foil papers (sometimes called Iris Folding) to create the striking pattern. This must have taken a while but it really looks cool!
Susan added stamped houses (from the Home for the Holidays set, which is retired now but oddly the framelits are on the clearance rack still) to some cute designer paper. I like how the paper does most of the work but then adding a stamped layer keeps it hand crafted.
Thank you for sending me one of your creations!

Weekly Deals!
****I received two anonymous orders lately from the same person. I’d love to send you my thank you gift but I don’t know who you are! Sometimes people place orders under ‘no contact’ accidentally, not realizing what it means. Email me at Linda@stampingschool.com if it this was you. Otherwise I’ll just assume it was an angel ordering:) *******
It’s Tuesday, which means Weekly Deals from Stampin’ Up! Good deal on Silver Glimmer paper if you want to stock up and also, if you have the star framelits, this stamp set is great for using with those. Even though I’m on the road, my doors are still open for ordering! Just call, email or order online HERE

Hi Linda, Can you tell me which stamp set did Jackie use on her card – I don’t recall it. Thank you. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas, Dottie 🙂

It’s a retired one from a few years back. I’m not sure the name of it!
Love the Wonderland card
Me too! It’s just so lovely in that sparkly color
