Hi All!

I’ve been away from blogging for a few weeks with the stamping convention in Utah and a trip to see my customers and team in Florida.  I finally feel caught up and can share some SNEAK peeks with you!

It’s a tricky time of the year for me as a Stampin’ Up demo.  We still have another month before the new annual catalog begins on June 1st.  Stamps and accessories are retiring so I need to be sure you know what going, what’s staying and also the beautiful Occasions catalog is still active until the end of May.  I don’t want to get too ahead by showing too much new stuff you can’t get yet but also excited to show you a few things to get you ready for the new catalog!

If you haven’t yet, you can view and print my Excel Retired List HERE

I was lucky to be chosen as a Display Stamper for the On Stage convention in Utah! Here we all are after setting up before the conference began.  So fun to work with such talented stampers!

We have a Pinterest Board for our samples displayed if you are on Pinterest!  I don’t have mine all on there yet – hoping to do that today!  You can view it HERE

Today I’m sharing Dapper Denim!

(note the cute new stamp that can be a badge or a bird cage that coordinates with a new punch!)

It’s a little bit in between our retired colors, Midnight Muse and Not Quite Navy. I like it!

This stamp set is called Sitting Here.

The swing is stamped in Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake card stock. I used an exacto blade to cut out the slats on the swing.  I scored some wainscoting on whisper white paper, every 1/2″ and 1/4″.   I stamped the sleeping dog on So Saffron card stock using Basic Gray ink. I used a blender pen to add saffron shadows.

I love the pops of our new In Colors, Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy, on the pillow and cushion!  I also fussy cut around the flower pot so I could have it sit in front of the wainscoting on the ‘floor’. Here’s a close up:

Here’s another sample, this one is smaller sized about 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. This one was fun! I added a leg to turn the swing into a bench. Rather than mask the basket and cat, I just cut a slit in the basket and nestled him in.  I love how our Brick Walk folder works as a background on the blue.

I also used the pillow as a type of tile flooring!

This next one is an easy one!  No fussy cutting:)  I just stamped the swing and bird in Soft Suede in on Crumb Cake card stock.   I love the Dapper Denim and the Crumb Cake together with a pop of white.

This one below is pretty easy with cutting out only the cat to sit on the bench. You can see a peek of the new In Color ribbon here, too! I stamped the swing on Very Vanilla and used blender pens/ink pads to color in.

I love the Petite Cafe Bags for easy gift giving (and they are food safe).  I added the new Dapper Denim designer series paper (2016-2017 In Color assortment) diagonal strip and the Balloon Celebrations set. You can see a snippet of the new Dapper Denim ribbon also.

Here’s a close up of the glitter. I dotted my fine tipped glue pen and sprinkled on some silver glitter.

I’ve included a few links to products available now to create the gift bag! The Dapper Denim blue won’t be available til June 1st but you can create these in any color of course!

I’ll be back in a day or 2 to highlight the next new color, Sweet Sugarplum!

Linda
