It’s a pretty cover, featuring a few of the new In Colors Dapper Denim and Peekaboo Peach along with Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay. I love it! I hope by now you have the new catalog and it’s covered with posties like mine is.  (if you don’t have one yet, email me for one)

We can all start ordering on June 1st at 3 am (MT) which is 5 am eastern time.  If you like to order online, go HERE to shop!

A few things to note

oh happy day oh happy day 2

There’s a new kit called Oh Happy Day kit.  It’s a fantastic kit, great value at $35 that includes 20 card/envelopes kit and 13 stamps and block.  It’s on page 6 of the new catalog and includes a little black ink spot.  They are having some trouble with the ink stamping up to standard so if you order the kit, use your own black ink pad and they will be sending out a new one to you late June.

The other important info to share today is about the new Big Shot Platform.

platform  metal platform

There is a new platform in the new Stampin’ Up catalog.  The one on the left is the new platform that is a re-design from the basic model you probably got with your Big Shot.  It’s a new and improved design with a slightly raised ‘hump’ in the middle so it cuts more evenly. It also doesn’t have a hinge and has just one add on.  Seems we don’t need all those tabs anymore.

Anyone who orders a Big Shot June starting today will get the NEW platform with their machine!

The platform on the right is the Precision Base Plate that we brought on during the Holiday catalog.  It’s a hard metal plate for cutting intricate designs for thinlits.  It’s tricky because we can’t use it for open thinlits or framelits, like circles or ovals, because it’s so rigid.   They are also finding it’s too rigid for tiny framelits. It takes the place of your bottom, clear cutting pad.

Watch this informative video from SU explaining the platforms:

And thesee using 2 new detailed thinlits:

I’ve ordered the new platform and I’ll do some experimenting with it and report back! I need to see if the new platform is enough for all the detailed dies or do we really need the metal plate also.

$35 Extra for large orders!

I guess Stampin’ Up knows we will be ordering a lot more in June so they gave us a special!

Order $350 or more (buddy up with some friends!) and receive $35 in Extra Stampin’ Rewards.  Here is the host rewards chart:

extra stampin rewards

SU offers stampin’ rewards with any order over $150.  You can buddy up and send to one address if you like or contact me how to share host rewards across the miles with friends using a host code so the orders mail separately.

road sign 2 free stamp sets

June 1 begins our new annual catalog and so Stampin’ Up is offering a sign up special. The majority of my team are stampers who just like the 20% discount. I have about 30% of my team who teach at least one a class a month.  You don’t have to sell – you can just be your own customer.

The Starter Kit is 99.00 plus your sales tax and you choose $125 in any product from the catalog AND free shipping on the whole order.  From June 1-30, you can add ANY TWO stamp set of your choice, any price!

Some things to consider:

As a demonstrator, you will place your own orders. It’s pretty easy, you login and type in your order numbers.  You still get host rewards and it’s nice to save that 20%.

The amount of orders to place each quarter is $300 retail (which costs a little less with your discount)  You can be your own host and earn rewards just like as a customer.  If you signed up in June, your next $300 would be placed by the end of September.  (the starter kit takes care of June)

You can start and stop at anytime.  If you find that you have enough stamps and want to stop, you can come back anytime or go back to being a customer.

For stamping ideas and training, I offer my Stamping School library free.  I have over 1000 videos archived with 2 videos a week with recipes. I still go to Florida once a quarter for an all day team event. If you are near there, you are welcome to attend as a demonstrator on my team.

If you are on Facebook, I have a fun, private team group that’s really active and shares a lot of ideas, advice, training, prizes and general stamping chat. We have stampers from around the US and would love for you to join us.

I offer weekly and monthly coaching calls for those that want to explore the business side for those that want it.  We can set up a call schedule to brainstorm ideas, etc.

It’s up to you to login to the website at least weekly to read the updates.  The Demonstrator only website has Stampin’ Connection, a huge forum and 100’s of ideas uploaded daily by demonstrators all over the world.

If you want to chat to see if it’s right for you, give me a call or email me or sign up online HERE.

Linda’s Ribbon Shares:  CLOSED

Details:  I use ribbon cards to wrap 1 or 2 yards of each ribbon.  I order all the new ribbons and measure, then cut up the ribbon for every 5 people.  Most ribbon is 10 yards so you would get 2 yards each.  Some specialty ribbons like the crochet ribbon is only 5 yards, so I cut those into 1 yard pieces for 5 people.  Being wrapped on a ribbon card can cause a bend in some ribbon – I suggest keeping a little flat iron (mine is travel sized) in your craft room to help smooth out any unwanted creases.

I’m offering 3 bundles – you can choose one or all!  These are just the NEW ribbons/twines offered this year, not our returning selections.

Specialty Ribbon Bundle    $10 & free shipping

If for some reason a paper or ribbon is back ordered, I will email you immediately to let you know of the delay.  I always work fast with these paper orders so I can get them to quickly as long as they are all in stock and I get them from SU on time. We have already been told that the Pop of Pink paper will be on back order and possibly the ruched ribbon.I will just have to mail those to you separately as they come in.  The new ruched ribbons are also expected to be low inventory since they were on our demo pre-order.  I’ll do my best to get them to you as quickly as I can get them!

How to Order:

As a SU Demonstrator, I have some guidelines to follow and cannot link directly to a payment/ordering page.  Please email me directly and then I will send you the link to my shopping cart to select your samplers and pay as in the years past.  Email me at Linda@stampingschool.com

I will always respond back the same day so if you don’t get a reply, email again just in case it got lost in cyberspace!
