I ended up with a new box of Project Life cards. This one is called HELLO LOVELY. Like the other 6 boxes I have that I haven’t used (i know….on my list!) I decided to open this one up and make some quick cards.
Project Life is technically for scrapbooking or Memory keeping as some call it now. It’s for busy people who just want to slide it all in pockets, write a little bit and be done!
Here’s how it looks as pages with pockets that we sell also. The cards come in 4 sizes and there’s 100 of them!
I’m a card maker mostly and so I decided to make some fast cards. Here are the Hello Lovely cards that are pre-printed. Some are geared to scrapping but I just turn them over – double sided patterns! You get double cards, so 50 designs and double sided.
I made some with the large cards – these are 4×6. I just cut the length down to 5-1/4″ and mounted on a card. I added a circle and scallop circle.
Another one using 4×6. I just added ribbon and cut a flower out from the printed card. I stamped the greeting.
There’s a lot of this size in the box – 3″ x 4″. These are nice for layering and I used a 4×6 (cut down to 5-1/4″) for the background of the card. The Laugh Often was already printed on it.
Another 3×4 card and a 1″ piece from another card along the side of the card. All I did was stamp the greeting!
These are 4×4 cards, which work great to layer on a square 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card. I just stamped the greeting and tied on twine. People always ask me what envelope I use for the square cards and I just use the regular size. So it’s a little roomy in there, who cares!
Doesn’t get much easier than this! Stamp a greeting in the center of the 4×4 card and mount it on a 4-1/4″ card!
Our Fine Tip Glue pen took the place of our Crystal Effects so if you ‘draw’ a little bit in the centers of flowers and let dry, it’s shiny and clear!
What I would suggest if you decide to buy some of these Project Life Card Collections is to take note of the colors listed below in the catalog. Those are the colors that are in the cards, so you can use those as a color guide for your card bases.
There is an Accessory Pack that I wished I had when I was creating these:

Neat ideas Linda! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Linda, I sent you some business today from a fellow birder. It was the Prairie Warbler stamp that did it! Happy 4th to you and Matt. Charley & Natalie
