We had a bridal shower in the neighborhood for a lovely couple and I was asked to make the invites. The bundles in the Occasions catalog were just perfect to whip these up quickly. Seriously, the gorgeous flower-lace die and designer paper does all the work on this card! It’s a 3 piece thinlit set for $33. The flower border is around 5-1/4″ long.
The designer paper is gorgeous with soft suede, Sahara Sand and Blushing Bride tones.
I kept the inside simple and stamped a coordinating flower from a stamp set called So In Love in Blushing Bride ink.
One of the talented ladies made a money tree with lights and we hung little 3×3 envelopes all over it. So pretty!
I wanted to make little favors for the bride to be and friends so I found little succulent plants on Amazon, wrapped them in the Falling in Love designer paper. A few embellishments with our lace doilies and they were ready to go to their new homes!
It was a lovely shower and a great start to a new life together!
By the way, don’t forget there are THREE new Sale a Bration Freebies coming out on February 21st! Glimmer papers and 2 stamp sets to choose from with every $50 0rder. I’ll post those here on the 21st. If you have been ordering from me this year, you will get the supplement in the mail. (if you need one and you are new here, email me Linda@stampingschool.com to request one!)

These invitations are just lovely.
Beautiful as always!
Absolutely gorgeous, Linda! Such elegant invites that would be easy to do with those framelits. Thanks for sharing:)
Thanks, Cindy! yes they were easy!
What was the dimensions for the succulents party favor and how did you make it? This is a wonderful idea for my Son’s wedding shower!
I cut the dsp down to 6×6 then cut in 1/2 diagonally. The longest straight edge is wrapped around the bottom so the point is at the top.
Great ideas, Linda! What stamp set does the “Here’s to New Beginnings” come from?
It’s in the Occasions catalog from Stampin’ Up, page 41. Called Everyday Tags
