I started out this morning to create something with the
Hello Cupcake stamps and framelits (coming out March 1st)
but my brain is home decor-land right now as we have been
renovating our whole kitchen lately. We’ve taken down a wall, replaced the floor, new cabinets, new appliances and now I’m buying the pretty things to put around.
(the fun stuff, right?)
I’ve been seeing a lot of succulents under glass domes,
so that was my inspiration.
The Hello Cupcake stamp set is free with a $50 purchase right now. On March 1st, Stampin’ Up is offering a coordinating framelit set! It cuts out the cupcake and has cute candles, picks AND this glass dome with stand!
I used the dome with clear acetate window sheets.
I cut the stand from woodgrain paper.
For my succulents, I used the free Sale-a-bration stamp set
called Painted Seasons. I inked in Pear Pizzazz and sponged on a little Melon Mambo on the edges before stamping on the white card stock.
The branch is from Colorful Seasons dies.
The designer paper is from Painted Seasons Bundle.
Tip: I glued just the bottom of the acetate under the stand
and one glue dot at the top of dome.
Here are my supplies for stamps/accessories I used:
