I’m taking the weekend off from videos this week for the holiday. I’ll be back next weekend though!
I hear the new catalogs are arriving to mailboxes all over the states and I hope yours is, too!
With the holidays almost behind us, a new Stampin’ Up mini catalog is due to begin January 4th!
I’m offering my paper, ribbon and accessories product shares again!
A ‘share’ is sharing all the products with others that order also. For example, I will cut all the new designer papers into 6×6 pieces and share with 8 people. So you end up with a sample of every paper (70 sheets) in the new catalog to test, play with or use as samples to in your business. (demonstrators welcome to participate, demos on my team get a team discount)
You can order just the paper shares, ribbon shares or accessories alone or a bundle with a $5 discount.

Hi all!
Yesterday I needed a Christmas gift bag and couldn’t find one that fit the occasion (Some of you can relate to Last Minute Linda:) So I went back to a video I did in 2009 for a large gift bag!
I was inspired by my friend Stephanie who made a card using the pinecone paper from the Painted Christmas 12x 12 DSP.
The finished bag is 8″ x 10″ x 3-1/2″ using two sheets of Designer paper 12 x 12 or cardstock.
Using 2 sheets may cost $2 but it’s worth it when it’s pretty AND you can make a coordinating card to feel fancy. Grab some paper, score along with me and make one!
oh and before I forget to tell you, YES I will be offering the new catalog shares for paper, ribbons and accessories. I’ll be posting those here in a few days!

Gold heat embossing just feels like the holidays for some reason!
I had a request from Sharon in Texas to use the Stampin’ Up Evergreen Border Punch. It’s in the annual catalog, great for nature cards and today, for the holidays!
The white card is only 3-1/2″ white and sits on top of the gold/green card base. It’s a fun fold of sorts that saves paper, too!

Remember if they say 3D , they are extra thick and you may need a different plate. We sold a blue clear plate a few years back and now it’s the gray plate called the Specialty Plate. (it comes with the new machine, also)
It takes the place of the clear cutting plates and you only need the one plate for 3D folders.

This is such an easy layout! You can substitute anything for the focal point altho I do love a versatile flower. The textured embossing folder makes it look like watercolor paper. I also like the shimmer In Color vellum peeking out!
This one is close to the same layout, but I stamped on the designer paper instead and if you squint, you can see the vellum scallop layer. The Heart & Home Designer paper has a pretty Freesia color print that I used here in popped up rectangles.
This one uses the largest flower and takes longer to color but I love the Razzleberry and Balmy Blue together.
