I’m feeling a little under the weather today so I’m holding off on this week’s video til Monday or Tuesday.

I read an interesting article about how coloring and doodling can be like therapy by relaxing the mind and improving health.
(you can read that article HERE if interested)

So I got out my favorite 12×12 paper in the Stampin’ Up Jan-June catalog, True Love.
It has all black and white images perfect for adding your own color.
Large flowers, small flower and prints on the opposite sides.

I felt like going bold would help me feel better:)
I grabbed the alcohol markers, Stampin’ Blends, in dark Marvelous Magenta, a splash of dark Daffodil Delight in the flowers
and a little Granny Apple Green for the leaves.
I colored the white areas around the flower with Magenta so the flower stayed white.
it took about 5 minutes to color the background but I love the pop of color.

I added my most used, favorite bundle called So Sentimental.
I have a lot of stamps and dies and this one is hands down my most used!

I just love the stitching and how they layer with unique shapes.
