Hi all! I’m taking some time off this weekend from videos, I’ll be back next week with one.
It’s been quite a week and adding on to it, my laptop died.
So thankfully I have my smart phone to post some inspiration for you!
(All photos taken from my phone in my kitchen, so I hope they look ok)
As all card makers know, it’s so fun to open the mailbox and find a handmade card in there!
It makes the whole day better, right?
I hope you find a layout or a card you want to try!
This was made by Debbie Hileman, a talented stamper on my team. She used that juicy designer paper, You’re a Peach.
I love the vertical watercolor stripes in the background from the paper, too.
This one was created by Jackie Walker, a great stamper on my team. What I love is the layout, that works with any designer paper!
Jackie used the In Good Taste designer series paper, which carried over from last year’s annual catalog.
BY THE WAY, since we are talking about designer papers today, there will be a sale starting JULY 1st!
I’ll post the details then.
Summer is just another word for Ice cream, right?
Favorite flavor? Gotta be mint chocolate chip, Breyers if I’m picky, which I’m rarely not when it comes to ice cream.
This one was made by Janet Munden, one of my team in Clermont FL. I love how she moved the ice cream to the edge so it looks almost scalloped. Looks like she cut an inch off the front of the card so it could stick out.
The ice cream bundle carried over to our new annual catalog but the paper is gone sadly.
I adore this card! This was made by Debra Lynn, a stamper on our team in Orlando.
She used strips of all the new In Color cardstock AND she used the coordinating marker and a ruler to add the skinny lines, which really makes it special!
This was made by Cindy Brumbaugh, a talented stamper on my team.
She loves birds like I do and used the Garden Birdhouses stamp set from the annual catalog.
I love how she stamped the background in crumb cake ink on crumbcake card stock. Sometimes we think we have to emboss or add designer paper, but we can use stamps as the background like this!
This one was sent to me by a special lady, Bev, who’s cards are fabulous. I couldn’t stop looking at this slimline card and ALL the work that went into it. Look at the stitching…I’ll keep it forever:)
I really like a gate fold and this one is an offset gate fold by Janet Munden. She used the Beauty of the Earth designer paper and made a type of closure with the sentiment. Looks striking on the navy card base, too.
This pretty card was created by Connie Hobbs and my favorite thing is how she added color to the vellum doily to coordinate with the Freesia paper. The Hand Penned designer paper must be the top selling paper, it’s so popular!
I love it when customers send me a card! It means they love making cards and are using the stuff they are ordering!
Cristy stamped her blooms in a pretty coral and yellow color scheme and added that sweet heart as the sentiment.
She added those green enamel dots to coordinate with the card base, pulling it all together.
My friend Janis sent me this one, I love the patriotic theme and seashells! Clever to pair them together!
Jackie created this elegant easel card using the Simply Elegant designer paper!
This is the front and then on the inside, it folds to the easel:
Completely not card related….
This little guy was given to me by a friend in the neighborhood. I was at her home, saw him sitting on a table with his little legs dangling off. I just loved him and a few days later, he was wrapped up and on my doorstep.
He means the world to me and greets me every morning when I make my morning coffee.
Those little wooden shoes make me smile every time!
Go Stamp Something!
And mail it.
Hi Linda, thanks for all the great card photos; so many talented demonstrators- of course, the little guy at the end made me laugh, a cross between a gnome and elf on the shelf; normally I’m not a fan of either one, but I found that little guy adorable, especially the little wooden feet-
ALL of Those cards are AMAzing, but the Stitched by Bev takes the cake!
