If you only buy one thing in the new Stampin’ Up mini catalog, get these beautiful, watercolor scenic papers!
There are 12 designs, 6×6 sized 48 sheets and called New Horizons.
I didn’t want to cut them but I wanted to showcase the lovely designs by cutting them in half to make 2 cards.
3/4 Cards are what I call this layout, cutting off an inch of the card base so a 3″ panel fits perfectly!
Here’s my video showing 4 cards with the 3/4 Card Layout and the Horizons paper:

Which one is your fav? I think I might be leaning towards the tree card but I also love the butterfly card with the bold Slim Sayings sentiment!

Do people actually think these papers are pretty? They are some of the ugliest paper I have ever seen
I do! I love scenery watercolors, so versatile!
Jean Martin, I thought the same thing UNTIL I started seeing amazing cards being made with this paper. I am not a patient person when working with water colors. This paper does it all for you. And I am kicking myself for not initially ordering because I know it will sell quickly.
I can totally relate to not wanting to cut DSP! Thank you for sharing your recipes for these great cards. I make a “mini” slimline card cutting the cardstock 6-1/2″ x 6-1/4″, score at 3-1/4″, then use a 3″ x 6″ of DSP. These fit in what is called a #6-3/4″ envelope. I think we called them standard envelopes in the old days! They measure 3-5/8″ x 6-1/2″.
Great idea! Thx for sharing !
That was me, too! I try to watercolor like that but can’t 🙂
These look great! What size envelope do you recommend (my math brain us on holiday)?
Your cards are so pretty. Thanks for showcasing that paper!
