Hi all!
This week went haywire for me and I didn’t get my video done. It was a perfect storm of migraines, feral kittens rescue efforts and an extra houseguest.
Life happens!
I did create one card using Layering Leaves. Such a pretty stamp set!
AND it coordinates with the Bough punch if you already have that!
I used a Lost Lagoon card base. Then I added 1″ strips from the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer paper. The top and bottom strips are straight, the rest are offset just a bit. The leaves are stamped on calypso coral and lost lagoon cardstock with same inks and punched.
I used the idea below as my inspiration. It’s from the 2018 Stampin’ Up mini catalog. I keep those old catalogs to get a layout idea when I’m stuck!

My apologies on missing posting my weekly video this past weekend!
My normal Saturday filming routine got really offtrack when Matt got stung and we had to go to the ER.
He’s never had a reaction like this before it was amazing how fast he got massive hives and tongue started to swell up!
The ER was great, lots of IV Benadryl, steroids and all that stuff and he was feeling back to normal the next day!
He is now the proud new owner of an epi pen for life 🙂

This Designer paper is pretty cool!
It looks so textural, like real torn paper but it’s smooth. I can just imagine how much fun it was for the artist to tear all those strips of paper to create the designs before they photographed it.
I had a request from Rachel in Canada to use this particular paper so I had some fun with it !
The hardest thing is cutting it up because it’s so pretty:)

GORGEOUS GARDEN DIES #161283 $42 Set of 2
I bought these new dies and finally getting some time to play with them!
I made 3 different cards and I love the versatility of these dies.
On the inside of the Just a Note card you can barely see the design I stamped using the die and ink pad but I like the subtleness of the pattern. And you might not guess what designer paper I used for the colorful pattern!
.How did I miss that the Limited Edition stamp set retired? aargh! Love that stamp set with the Paper Hug sentiment…
You can substitute anything that fits in your banner.
