This week I revisited a fun fold from ages ago called a Flip Flop card. Any shape works but I used the Fitting Florets oval die for this one along with the Lovely & Lasing bundle and designer paper. It folds flat and into a regular A2 sized envelope.|
I also made another Gnome version for the holidays!
I had a request to come up with some new ways to use the Candy Cane dies, specifically the large Diagonal stripe in the Candy Cane bundle:
I had fun playing with it! Here’s the video to see the die up close and it’s not just for the holidays!
A birthday card, a thank you card, a gift card holder and a few tips and tricks along the way. Here is the video:
Hi all! I had a whirlwind of a fun day yesterday here in Pittsburgh. Stampin Up was here for a one-1/2 day conference called OnStage. We are just getting back to in person events and it was wonderful to see everyone again! AND we got to see the upcoming NEW mini catalog and Sale-a-Bration freebies coming in January!
It’s a pretty cover with a bright, razzleberry color and full of cool new stampy things! More to come on that later – let’s get through the holidays!
Before I forget, there is a nice sale coming on Tuesday, November 15 through the 18th! These select Annual catalog items will be on sale:
10% off all punches
15% of all stamps (Host stamp sets are not included in this sale)
20% off all dies
20% off all embossing folders
20% off all non-specialty Designer Series Paper
Here is a flyer that you can print that should have the items on sale: click here to view flyer
I took some photos of the display board where demonstrators posted their swaps- Lots of great inspiration!
Since there are no names on the cards, I cannot give the Artists credit so I added a generic watermark. So much great inspiration! My favorite was this sweet gnome card using the Charming Landscape embossing folder:
So cute! If this is your card, it definitely made me smile!
I have to fly back to North Carolina today, I’m sorry I didn’t get to see more of my Pittsburgh friends while I was here! It is a pretty city rich with history and I’ll be back!
GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE PERFECT TO GIVE A CRAFTER IN DECEMBER! They can redeem them anytime but in January Stampin’ Up will have Sale-A-Bration freebies, too!
Email me HEREto order a $50 or more gift certificate to be redeemed with me!

I’m reposting my video from a few weeks ago in case you missed it or you need a refresher!
When I woke up this morning, I had no idea what I’d be stamping today!
Life has been busy but great this week…I had a birthday, Matt had a birthday and lots of celebrating going on.
Then I saw this bundle and felt like making TAGS….It’s birthday, winter, Valentine, all around gift giving goodness!
#159867 CELEBRATE WITH TAGS BUNDLE $55.75
Watch my video to see 3 projects and a few extra tricks for how to stamp a reverse image, like a mitten:
Sometimes I avoid a cute, line art stamp set because I know it will be time consuming to color.
Stamps like these make it easy to just add a little bit and feel good about it!
It’s called North Pole Mischief, $21 #159770
In this week’s video I’m showing how to use the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to add just enough color to not take an hour but still be super cute!
A sweet stamper friend of mine emailed me and said
“Linda, help! I need 25 candy treat boxes FAST and I don’t really have any Halloween sets!”
I love a challenge:)
A few years ago I painted and decorated wine bottles and I thought why not make some miniature bottles AND treat boxes?
The Bottle punch and shaker domes were so much fun to use for these!
This box template is the EASIEST one to make, especially if you need one quickly!
Watch my video to see how easy it is to draw the bottled images with no stamping:
