This is an easy fold for a front pocket gift card and the apple just seemed perfect for a Teacher thank you!
As Sale-A-Bration is nearing the end this month, Stampin’ Up has some new Dies coming September 1st!
(These will be for a limited time, while supplies last)
The 6 new die sets coordinate with current stamps sets.
I pre-ordered the Apple Blossom dies to go with the stamp set, Apple Harvest, which is perfect for living here in NC.
Our apple festival is coming up in 2 weeks!
Here is my video showing the dies and 3 alternate ideas using them:
I’ll be heading to New Orleans for a Stampin’ Up Leadership conference next week!
Should be a lot of fun but I’ll be scheduling the piggy video to post on Saturday while I’m gone:)
As soon as I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to create a spinner card with the helicpopter seed!
The 2nd thing I did was google ‘helipcopter seeds’ LOL
What colors do they come in? What trees produce them?
Maple Trees have a lot of these winged pods that twirl down to the ground.
They come in lots of colors:
This seed was my inspiration, I love the fresh green and pink color combo!
Wind it Up, close the card and when they open it up, it spins!
Watch my video to see it in action…
This week snowballed on me! It was a wonderful week but I over booked myself a bit. When I found a pocket of time to create a project and video to share, I stressed myself out and the creativity was not flowing. Then I remembered a few videos that the Stampin’ Up home office had posted recently that inspired me, so I thought they might inspire you also!
This one I’d like to try sometime this week. Painting the raisedembossed images and we have so many great embossing folders! Maybe the Seashells folder? (that folder is still free with a $50 order in August!) You can see that folder and the other freebies HERE
If it’s a tiny area, try using a blender pen!
so pretty! Here is their video, it’s a short one!
Let me know if you have tried it!
Another video I like is the No Line Watercolor Technique. I remember trying it a few years ago. It takes a little finesse, I admit I gave up too quickly and want to give it a try again!
Stamp your image in a very light color, like a light yellow or here they used Sahara Sand. You may have to stamp off once to make it very light! It’s best on watercolor paper, which helps to absorb the water and the paper won’t pill too much!
Stampin’ Up added a few more freebies for the remaining weeks of Sale a Bration! these are from the Annual catalog – Embossing folders are a great freebie!
Here are the new freebies from the annual catalog!
There are 4 sets of dies free with a $100 and I’ve linked the coordinating stamps that are available for purchase.
Stampin’ Up is giving us more freebies to choose from with a $50 purchase during our last month of Sale a Bration!
These are from the annual catalog.
THREE embossing folders, 2 specialty foils, gift boxes and 3 sets of dies!
Original SAB items are still available except the cards/envelopes and the Tree Lot dies with the camper.
(remember that SAB freebies are While supplies last)
See the current Sale a Bration freebies here
There is also a new card kit available AUG 3rd. It’s called Cozy & Bright, I love the stamp set!
I haven’t seen a holiday card with orange slices, I like the fresh approach!
That’s it for today!
I’ll be back on the weekend with a video!
I can think of so many uses for this fun card!
It’s a pop up, but folds flat and fits a gift card or thin chocolate or cash….I found myself walking around the stamp room to see what fits in there:) I was inspired my friend and team member, Debbi Muche, who made this pretty card:
She used the Hues of Happiness designer paper from Stampin’ Up and it has the sweetest lil’ gift bag inside!
It’s hard to improve on her design, it’s perfect!
I made one of my own with the Lovely Linen Designer paper and a great stamp set called Amazing Year.
I love the bold lines and sentiments in this set! It is easy to color, too!
It’s still July…I’m not ready for Christmas BUT I am ready for some cooler weather!
I’m hoping this little fall pumpkin card will bring on some breezy temps.
The Diagonal layout is an oldie but I wanted to use just a 4×4 piece of designer paper to really make it stretch but still look nice.
I think I could have kept making these all day! And by using a few coordinating papers, you get 2 cards from each cut.
I did end up making a few winter/Christmas cards….the paper was so pretty:)
My video this week started with a classic, diagonal layout that was inpired by my friend Janet Munden who sent me this card:
Then I made a few using some new Designer papers. This one is using the Butterfly Kisses 6×6 Papers and a great stamp set called Limited Edition. I love the Paper Hug sentiment!
It’s the perfect set for the back of your projects but also for the front:
This one might be my favorite!
This one is a different orientation and uses a 3″ x 5-1/4″ paper.
HI all!
I took last weekend off from uploading a video so I could finish up my Mini Catalog product shares. Thanks to all who particpated again this year! They have all been mailed and should have arrived by today!
This week I created some pretty cards using the Lovely & Lasting punch bundle. This has really been my most used bundle since the new annual catalog started a few months ago!
The 3 cards I created have all the same, basic layout but with some varying techniques.
My favorite might be this Polished Pink/white/Black card with clear embossing powder!
