The Magnetic Plate is back! It takes the place of your bottom cutting plate and is magnetic. SU took it off the market as it warped a lot and hopefully this one is better. I think some warping is inevitable but it sure is nice to have a magnet!

Ok, on with this week’s video! A little bit of traditional masking and then non-traditional masking using Deodorant and Candle Wax? Yep! And as I am typing this, I just remembered the old White Crayon masking technique! That might work really well too! I’ll try that and report back. Meanwhile, if you like to experiment with off-the-beaten-stamp-path techniques, try this one!
I used Daffodil, Parakeet and Tahitian Tide inks to create the colors but it looked best on a Bermuda Bay Card base.
I love a faux layer or a masked off frame – really helps the colors pop!

Spotlighting with punches or dies is an easy way to draw attention to a stamped image or in this case, pretty designer paper!
And this new Designer paper…everyone needs a pack! It’s vibrant and lovely! (it will be available to all May 3rd!)
These dies are in the current SU mini catalog and are called Beautiful Shapes. I looked past them initially but kept seeing so many interesting cards using them. I do love any die shapes that layer!
The dies also come as a bundle if you like the stamp set. I ended up just getting the dies to use with other images but you can see it below.. OH and these are carrying over into the new annual catalog in May! They just won’t be a 10% off bundle but available individually.
I also used the dies to copy aka CASE the Stampin’ Up mini catalog. Here is my version against the sample in the mini catalog. I used the upcoming Design A Daydream designer paper!

Hi all!
Before I head into this week’s projects, I will be offering the new, annual catalog product shares! I’ll be posting them on Monday for reservations.
This week I opened a new designer paper from my annual catalog preorder. It’s called He’s the Man, which is a pack of 12×12 papers with prints geared towards guys. Of course not limited just to guys….I like beer, camping and BBQ:)
I think Stampin’ Up has SO many flower bundles that once in a while, it’s great to have something different.
(There is also a bundle in the new Annual catalog which begins May 3rd . See page 79)
The cool thing is that there are 5 designs (2 each) f 12×12 paper and then 2 sheets of the printed die cuts!
I had a request for some easy cards and I wanted to try these out. EASY cards and no stamping!

That’s my first thoughts seeing the new Stampin’ Up 2022-2024 In Colors!
Each year Stampin’ Up releases 5 new colors that are trendy, fashion forward and can freshen up any collection. The 5 colors will be seen in Ink pads, cardstock, designer paper, ribbons and accessories and they will all be available when the annual catalog begins May 3rd!
By the way, I will be offering my annual catalog Paper, Ribbon and Accessories Shares!

In this week’s video I’m taking the colors for a test drive, using the Stampin’ Blends and a pretty, new stamp set!
Bendi cards have been around years and I have no idea who created them first or why they are Bendi not Bendy:) If you know, leave me a comment. The Plentiful Plants bundle seemed to be perfect for the multi-step layout!
Yes, they fold FLAT to mail and even the larger 5×7 card is only one first class stamp to mail! My video this week shows how to make 2 sizes and also a spring/Easter bunny version I made for a special niece of ours.
I just got back from a short vacation in Arizona spending some much needed time with this girl!
Many of you know Patsy Waggoner, a sister stamper friend from Minnesota. We’ve been friends at least 18 years, enjoying many Stampin’ Up trips together. Our husbands are good friends also so we had a wonderful time seeing Tucson!
From kissing goats, petting and feeding Ostrich to learning how fascinating cactus are. We had a great time!
We just got home last night so I decided instead of a video, I’d better take the day to look over the retiring list and see what’s leaving. Things are While supplies Last and some can sell quickly, some may show up on the clearance rack later if they don’t. (and no pressure, LOTS of good stuff coming in the next annual catalog very soon:)
The FIRST thing I do when I go to the Last Chance shopping page is SORT from low to high. I love to see what the least expensive items are first! If you like to shop visually, you can find the retiring shop HERE
Retiring In Colors
There is only 1 color out of the 5 In Color ink refills left – Cinnamon Cider (at the time of this post)
I’m not sure about Misty Moonlight – there were more coming in last I heard so we will wait and see.
The In Color classic ink pads are all still available, also.

Retiring Ribbons
Not all retiring are listed here but these are my favorites and ones I have used a bunch!
The Highland Heather ribbon is sparkly and so nice for spring projects!
Retiring Embossing Folders I love adding texture to anything – some standouts that I have used a lot are the Greenery folders and the Tasteful Textile!
The Tailored Tag punch has been a staple in my craft room for banners!
Using it for sentiments is great but I use it the most to punch the ends of my sentiments!I’ve seen the new Annual Catalog and there are loads of new stuff coming so it makes saying goodbye to some of these a little easier!
