I have so many pictures to post but with all the activities of the day here, I have to wait a day! We had our make and takes & classes all day today and I snuck out early so I could photo the displays. After classes, I came back to the hotel and put on my PJs, ordered room service and a bunch of demonstrators came to the room to look at swaps. We pass around our bags of swaps, take pics, ooh and ahhh over our favorites and have the best time! It’s late and the room is now back to just the 3 of us and I can hardly keep my eyes open.
Here are a few of my favorites:

Cards in an origami box

Look at the box trimming with the large twill and buttons! Shelli said they looked like the boxes at Anthropolgy

this magnetic board was made by covering a galvanized steel sheet with Designer paper

Love the Designer paper memo board
We had a great time at the awards last night! My good friend Jan Burnett and I were sitting together, sweating it out as they announced the order of the Top 100. It’s very exciting and as close to the Oscars as I’ll ever get! We knew we were in there somewhere and I thought I was probably in the 90’s. (which is great and I would have been thrilled!). They call the demonstrator names 10 at a time and I was just stunned to be called at number 40! I know that my wonderful customers and downline were a huge factor for my award so thank you, my friends! (and for those of you who know Jan, she rocked it at number 35!)
Thanks for stoppin by!

Well, I made to Salt Lake City, Utah for our annual convention. Some demonstrators arrived yesterday but I chose to come in today. My suitcase was loaded up with swaps (and too many clothes that I won’t get around to wearing) so I’m finally in my room and exhausted already!’
The line to the Memento Mall is SO long and a 3 hour wait so I opted to take pics of the displays outside through the glass and go back later! Above is a SU eco friendly water bottle.

Rubik’s cube, Stampin Up style

Cosmetic bag?

I have to get this artsy hoody! Hard to see it here , but it is all Razzle Dazzled!
Want to see our convention bag? It is so cool!
is
It is canvas AND it reversible!

And in the bag are my free stamp sets!
The biggest surprise of all was that I made Founder’s Circle!! They surprised me with this special backpack with suede trim:

I’m just so thrilled to make it for a second year and be in the top 100. I’ll find out on Thursday where I ranked but honestly, I feel grateful to place at all.
Tomorrow is our General Session and classes so I’ll update more later!

Hi stampers! It is January 19th and we can officially post pictures of the new stamps, products and awesome papers we saw at the Stampin’ Up Leadership conference last week! I am showing my favorites and things that are on my wish list. We can order today after noon (2:00 my time here in Florida!)
The projects I am showing you were on display but no names for the artist are displayed, so a big thanks to the creators who made these for Stampin’ Up!
If you do not have a local demonstrator and would like a copy of the NEW catalog, you can email me at lindastamps@cfl.rr.com. The cost is $10 and I will send 2 $5 gift certificates to be used if you place 2 orders of 25.00 or more. To my regular customers who purchased from me last year, your catalog is free – just get in touch if you don’t have your copy already!
Okay! Here we go!

Isn’t this gorgeous??! We have new card stock that is bronzy chocolate in color. There is a Sizzix textured die coming in March with the Manhattan flower, so it can be dry embossed on the cardstock. It’s large enough for a full card and so elegant! On the right side, it is only dry embossed. On the left side, they dry embossed it and then drew over it with a glue pen and used the new FINE CHOCOLATE GLITTER!
This is with the coordinating stamp set:

There are these new things called Canvas Cuts, which are die cut canvas sheets for added texture to your projects. Coordinates with new rubons.

Digital Scrapbooking program, My Digital Studio. This won’t be out in this catalog: So cool because it is super easy to use. If you can use Word, you can use this! So much fun with our brads, designer paper and stamp images that can be made to any size! Then you add real embellishments on top of it after you print and it is really something special! I’ve seen 3 different Digi programs in action before and I think they might have something extra special with this one…can’t wait to play with it!
Paula Rotmil, one of the girls in my downline who is here, WON it!!! It’s won’t be out for a while, but when it is I’ll be at her place playing with it for sure!
New Decor Elements Stencils!
This is one of our exclusive stamp sets and now it is a stencil, too. This bedroom is one of Shelli’s daughters and I think it is done with eggplant or plum acrylic paint and a sponge roller:

The pic above is Shelli demonstrating our new décor elements stencils for us! She has been wanting stencils for a long time. These aren’t your grandma’s stencils! Our designs are exclusive. Use with any color of paint of course.
She used a sponge roller and plum Delta paint. She uses a drop in one of our stamp cases. Very little on roller
shelli said she will be using one of them in cream on taupe walls.

Look at how pretty this little silk lampshade is! Same stencil, using a stencil brush.

Tote bag
Shelli made note to say that we will not be selling the paints, stencil creams, brushes, etc. this is just another fun application of our images that we love and to reach new crafters.
She made the illustration of how snow skiing was declining in popularity. Snow boarding re-emerged and brought snow sports back into popularity. It didn’t mean that skiiers left their hobby, just that new people discovered a different type of sport. I didn’t tell it as well, but you get the picture, right?

All Images copyright Stampin' Up!
These cute birds are everywhere and in stencils, too!

All Images copyright Stampin' Up!
This is a linen album that Shelli made! Stenciled on the front and added embellishments. She sprayed it with a sealant and while it was still wet, sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds in it! Seeing it in person is so much better!

All Images copyright Stampin' Up!
Front page of her album

All Images Copyright Stampin' Up!
She used Classic Ink and a dauber on the stencil for these pages

Her favorite card! She used White Craft ink….

My favorite new ribbon:

Love the ric rac and polka dots
NEW SIZZIX DIE CUTS:

All Images Copyright Stampin' Up!
My favorites are the nesting ovals, which are going to be great. The scalloped oval is on my list, too. It doesn’t look like it but the middle punches out in a solid oval.

All Images Copyright Stampin' Up!
I’m going to get this alphabet die set – I think I will use it a bunch. It is only an EXCLUSIVE Stampin’ Up die and is only 21.95! Love the asian influence bird and branches. There is a stamp set I will be getting that is called Bird on a Branch and a coordinating wheel called Branch out. Similar feel as branches in the picture.

Stampin’ Up threw quite a shindig for the Manager’s here at our Leadership conference! We had Marvel Superhero Island all to ourselves at Universal Studios Islands Of Adventure. I forgot to take pics of the food set up all along the streets, but it was incredible!
My favorite rollercoaster, The Hulk, was open for us as well as Dr. Doom, Storm Force and Spiderman were all open for our amusement (and screams)
There were Stampin’ Up banners and shout outs all over the park for us! Matt says they call it Gobo…..

Punch – get it? A Super Hero pun…. There were also some that said Stamp, Swap…
The Super Heroes were out in force for us! The amazing Spiderman himself….

Jan and Dr. Doom, doing the cha cha

The Green Goblin, who was creepy and menacing the whole time!

Matt actually works at Universal as a Trainer for leaders so we were right at home! We even got married at Universal (I think he has details of that on his page) It was great having him as a guest for the manager’s night so he could experience it with me!

Susy gets a caricature! I heard someone call out that the artist needed a bigger sheet of paper to capture her big personality!

Food tables lined the streets and we took full advantage of it!

One of my fav pics of the night! Karen Titus and Lisa Schmid taking a test ride on The Hulk! We couldn't get Karen on the rollercoaster BUT she went on Spiderman 2x!
By the way, I WISH I would have been fast enough to get a pic of Carol Nordquist on the hulk! Those of you that know her would have loved seeing her go on all the rides, more than once! She loved it!

While Karen and Matt went on Spiderman again, I was checking to see if Captain America's muscles were real. Yup, they were!
Dancing with the Super Heroes! Video: (taken with my camera so no editing but you can get the idea!) It may stop and start if there is a lot of traffic. Let it buffer and load before playing will help.

As we left the park to get back on our bus, SU gave us these awesome lunch boxes!
