Video: Offset Layout + Faux Mitered Corner

Hi all!   I’ll jump right to my video this week showing a paper saving trick and a layout that I really love:

Here is the link I mentioned for my original mitered corner video

This week I chose to work with the Favored Flowers Sale a Bration paper, which is free with a $50 ordering
during January and February:

AND the Sending Support stamp set, which is also a freebie during Sale a Bration!

If you squint, you can see the mitered floral corner, which is only 2 pieces of 1″ designer paper.
It saves paper, it’s easy and looks great!    It all started with this card swap I received years ago from Chris Smith:
I loved the simplicity, the white space and the little bit of striped designer paper. I kept her swap all these years because I loved the layout.    Here’s another one with multiple offset layers that I created with the Rain or Shine Designer paper:
I hope you give it a try!

With the Stampin’ Up annual catalog Retiring List out, I started inventory and discovered a stamp set that was still new in the case.  Kinda like those shirts in my closet that didn’t have an occasion this past year LOL

It’s called My Meadow and it’s one of those artsy, watercolor look stamp sets.
Altho it takes quite a few ink pads, it’s easy to create a sweet scene in minutes!

Here’s my video this week for an easy way to create those mitered corners in the frame!
As a demonstrator, I was able to see the new Stampin’ Up annual catalog and there was a sample in the back of the catalog with a mitered white frame.  So I was inspired to try it!
