This week I had a request to use the Flowering Vine dies!
Thank you Mindy for giving me the nudge to use ’em this week!
Let’s get right to the video so you can see them all in action!
You can click HERE or on the video below to watch.
I made a recipe/measurement PDF for each card. See the link under each photo for the printable recipe and measurements
This one might be my favorite!
I like the 3 pages and the see thru window altho
I did change the orientation in the video so it cuts easier in the die cutting machine.
I really like how this one came out, too!
I think it’s the woodgrain paper that lends to the farmhouse feel.
This shows how to use the background die as a stamped image
just by adding color with the alcohol Blends markers.
When I have more time, I’d like to try this with other papers but the
Inlay or Inlaid technique is a cool look, especially in person. You really see it embedded it there.
This is the most traditional way to use the background dies, as a background to a sentiment or image.
The Hydrangea designer really sets it off against the darker purples.
So pearly, so shiny and SO pretty!
This will work with any embossing folder but I was playing with the new Sand & Sea suite
(coming out in the January-June mini catalog from Stampin’ Up)
and had an idea to try to make my own pearly paper and it worked!
I used our new Blending brushes and our Frost White shimmer paint before embossing
to really make it a wow!
If you are ordering with me January 5th, here are the numbers for the paint and brushes:
Frost Shimmer White paint $8 #147046
Blending Brushes set of 3 $12 153611
This new sea shell suite is HUGE and full of possibilities!
There’s a big stamp set, matching dies, and a matching embossing folder which all work together!
Watch my video HERE to see all the products in this suite up close!

Here are the 3 cards I cased from pages 40-42 in the catalog:
Be ready to order this right away on January 5th so you can earn Sale a Bration freebies!
I’ll post the Freebies catalog here on January 5th if you haven’t received yours yet.
The bulk mail is going sooooo slow due to covid and holidays.
Only 2 more days to get in on my new catalog shares/samplers!
I’m in snowy New Hampshire this week with Matt’s wonderful family. It’s just gorgeous here! (and not having to drive or shovel it, I can truly enjoy it from inside the windows) . Eating, napping, Rummikub, eating, digesting, eating…you get the idea. Hey, I even learned a new card game called Spite & Malice! Anyone else play that? It’s fun and I’m surprisingly good at the spite part :0
Before I start posting pics, 3 quick things:
1st Quick thing: If you have purchased Stampin’ Up from me in the past year, you should have already received the new Spring Catalog AND the annual Sale-A-Bration brochure. IF you have not, please email me at lindastamps@cfl.rr.com While I think MOST of the mail arrives on time, I know that some gets lost or eaten by machines. (and husbands interception skills….) If you haven’t seen me for a while or don’t have a current demonstrator and would like to have one mailed to you, email me with your name and mailing address. I cannot post the links to show you or download the catties until Jan 3rd for the Spring and January 22nd for the SAB catty.
2nd quick thing is that SU has added 15 more items to the clearance rack (and is anyone else wondering how much they must have in their ‘closets’ to keep adding these things?!) Here are the 15 additions listed and you can see what’s new HERE

3rd quick thing: Yes, I WILL be offering the DSP & Ribbon samplers for the new catties. I’ll be posting those on January 1st here on the blog.
The last 3 weeks of December have been a whirlwind of last minute classes, orders and helping stampers with their holiday cards. I’m sorry that I haven’t posted these wonderful gift ideas sooner but maybe if you see something you’d like to make, you can save it for next year OR change out the colors for another occasion.
These ideas were from a gift exchange at my demonstrator get together. Over 35 stampers brought one handmade item to pass around as I read the annual stamping elf-left/right- story. It’s always fun to see the gifts pass back and forth and eventually land in their ‘forever’ hands! Here are a few of the favorites:
Sandi Grimes: Altered Wooden Frame
Trish Niedergeses: purse gift card holder
Linda Goldhersz: bulletin board
Cute apron and post it note owl by Heidi LaFountaine
(Note to the Roadies on my Stampin’ Up Team: I posted a video from Janet’s demo from our get together in case you couldn’t be there. Go to the Roadies page here on the blog and enter the team password.)
Hi All! Matt and I had a fun road trip to Winchester, VA for our 7th anniversary (see his page on the blog for pics along the way)! We realized that we don’t go away very often for non-stamping related events. Usually our big trips are with our stamping friends on the SU incentive trips or conventions so this time was just the two of us! He’s great fun and up for anything so we had some unusual stops along the way!
On the stamping scene, here are some of the swaps and ‘show & share’ samples from our demo get together here in FL at the end of February.
TO VIEW SLIDESHOW: Click on the first picture, it will take you to a bigger page where you should see an arrow to theright to scroll through. Enjoy! Linda

I love this little guy! I’m usually late with my birthday cards as my friends know so I should make a whole bunch of ’em!
He is from the Button Buddies stamp set (Stampin’ Up! of course) and the DSP is called Berry Blossoms and is fresh with Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral.
Don’t forget! All 10.95 Designer Paper is on sale buy 3, Get one free! Call, email or place your orders online by the end of the month to get in on this deal!
This isn’t Button Buddies today but something else I showed at my button booth and displays at convention.
I had SO much fun playing with all of our accessories to spruce up buttons! Everything you see here is Stampin’ Up! accessories.

So dig thru your box of “this & thats” and create your own unique accessories to doll up your projects! I’d love to see what you come up with so email me your creations and I’ll post them here. Linda
For those just tuning in, I’m posting a series from the stamp set Button Buddies (from the new Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog) It’s a really cute and versatile set! Scroll down to the posts below to see more ideas.
Here is a fun way to give buttons as a “love ya” or a hostess gift. I love Tic Tacs so saving the containers and going green is a plus plus for me! I call them Tic Tac Button Packs and here is a post making one (with a video) 3 years ago . The snail and flower from Button Buddies was perfect to jazz up the front!
I used the new Berry Blossoms DSP (front and back) , Early Espresso Ink, Calypso Coral and Wisteria Wonder ink. I stamped the flower 2x , cut out the inner part to glitter and pop up, adding our new polka dot brad.
I love fall colors, pumpkins and cooler weather. When are we going to get a break from this heat! After making this little fall card, I’m dreaming of when I can open my windows again and eat pumpkin pie 🙂
(note to Stamping School Members: Since some of you are asking, yes I will be archiving all of this Button Buddy series on Stamping School. Since they are not exclusive and are public blog videos, they won’t count as our weekly private videos so they will just go in as extras! I will also be uploading the PDF with all of these with cutting measurements and recipes for members.)
I love this little guy! Here is another one of my Button Buddies Series I did for the SU convention booth on buttons. I used the Flirtatious DSP Doily for snowflake. The colors are Poppy and Pool Party. The greeting is from a jumbo wheel called Jolly Jingles.
Later I added 2 little rhinestones to his ‘button holes’ on his tummy!
Here is the video!
