Hey All! I’m in my hometown here in Orlando at the Stampin’ Up Leadership convention. I didn’t have to travel far this time!

I know you like to see what the bag is!

Really cute canvas back and the inside is cute, too!
(The Best Day Ever is from the Sale A Bration stamp set)
My Favorite swap from yesterday is from Teresa Evangelista, who made this awesome flap card!

Stampin’ Up is changing up their compensation plan for demos, moving things around, new terminology….so most of the day was focused on training us for all that! We didn’t see any stamping until 3:30 pm, when our CEO Shelli Gardner took the stage.
Here is one cute idea she shared using scraps of triangles:

You can see here how she built around the circle using hand-snipped card stock scraps:

Remember how to MASK? This is her take on a 2-step stamp that she masked off. She embossed the greeting in black. I really like this one! These samples should be up on display boards today so I can get a better look.

Our Gathering Place where all the samples and ideas are was not open til 4 and then I had to run to dinner.

I literally ran in, took this pic and had to run out! I can’t wait to get in there this morning.
After a quick bite, the Managers and above were whisked away on buses to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a private event just for us! As soon as we walked in we sat down to see the Fantasmic show!

Thanks Sandi Grimes for the photo – my camera wouldn’t get it!

I found a few of my team near Goofy, Mickey, Minnie! Cindy Brumbaugh, Debbi Muche and I found a photo op spot!
Gotta run to breakfast so I’ll post more from my phone later today!

Rainy and windy today here in Houston but no snow so everyone was liking the weather. In fact, there is a rooftop hotel pool and hot tub that was full of demonstrators tonight!
Today was full of classes here at the SU Leadership conference. We had a special Keynote speaker, Pat Pearson, who delivered an inspiring talk. A really nice sit-down lunch and then some picture taking of displays, dinner and then back at 7 pm for our Make and Take stamping night. SU had a few fun projects and well as lots of demonstrations.
Here are the tags we made with the wooden accents, the new scallop tag punch and Kaleidoscope paper .

Here’s our group with a new friend, Lucia, on the far right.

SU gave us these cute totes with our stamps and project kits.

I liked this watercolor card:

This was my swap this year. I forgot to take them down with me the first day so I still have 75 more to unload tomorrow!

Saturday we have big class in the morning, lunch and then the last general session where hopefully we will see some fun new stamping techniques and ideas!

We are at our final season of the conference.
My brain is full of business ideas and my heart is full of warm fuzzier from seeing all my stamping friends.
Pam Morgan is on stage showing a few fun projects:

Look closely at the birthday stamp…some of you old timers with Stampin’ Up might remember this one! Stampin’ Up is going to have a 25th anniversary single stamp promo coming up soon. They are bringing back some of their favorites from the past for a limited time! Details coming next Monday so stay tuned.

Stepped up a little bit more with gold smooch spritz

And another color change and more layers.
I’m not sure if there will be more stamping so I’ll sign off here. Thank you for being with me over the last few days!

I’m taking these with my phone but I figure I may never get them edited and up!
Here’s just a small sampling of some wonderful things on the boards from The display stampers. If You like seeing everything on the displays, try to attend the annual convention in July in Utah! It’s going to be amazing!
Here are a few using that cute ‘patterned occasions’ stamp set from SAB catalog that begins Jan 22nd:

Here are a few from the stamp set “pretty petites”. It’s also a Sale-a-Bration set.

This is a set called “bloomin’ marvelous”

Here are a few from “vintage verses”

This is a stamp set from the spring catalog called “oh, hello”

Bonnie Thurber takes the stage to give us a Big announcement!
We love to make and send cards so this is right up our alley.
Kits have been around for a long time but increasingly more popular these days as we get more busy.
Writing thoughtful, handwritten notes are important to us so Stampin’ Up has a new monthly subscription program!
It’s called Paper Pumpkin! Comes right to your door. Love it!
Some casual crafters might like a quick and easy kit, too.

More details coming soon but here are a few bites. (Demos, updates online today on the Stampin’ Up website.)
I’m looking forward to seeing what they make!
To my customers, I’ll post more when I know more. Begins in March! Demos can begin Monday!
Try It kit comes with clear block and a different price. Demos can purchase as many as they like of the Try It to cash and carry.
I love the name Paper Pumpkin! Catchy! The webiste is up already if you want to check it out!

And we ALL just got 2 of them!

Stopped by the Check In booth to pick up my free stamp set, lanyard and packet.
Across the way, LOTS of camera flashes going off like paparazzi!

I’ll come back and take better photos with my good camera later (and once the crowd calms down!)

We can’t forget to give finger snaps and applause to the demonstrators
who stamped these display board projects!

Madison Avenue is a free stamp set offered during Sale-a-bration
January 22-March 22nd. Love what they did with it!

It’s fun to see all the product in person, too!
More in a while!
