Time for spring cleaning to make room for new stamps!
It’s sad to see some go, especially some of my favorite sets like Field Flowers and Woodgrain…but it just means new things are comin’!
This list means that it’s time for you to pull out a highlighter or post it notes, sit down with a cup of something good and highlight the things going away. Print the Retiring list by page number to help you go page by page. Keep a Post-It nearby to tag the possible sets you might want to get before they retire officially at the end of May.
Remember that this is the first year that stamps will be “while supplies last”.
The Retiring promotion runs April 21st – June 4th The new SU Annual Catalog starts June 2nd so we will have some overlap with just the retiring products. That’s a great thing so you can compare the new catalog with the retiring list to be sure of what you need to purchase.
For the stampin’ accessories – those are the inks, papers, ribbons, designer papers, buttons, brads, etc….Some of those will be going and what doesn’t sell may end up on the clearance rack but we never really know for sure. Some of those are discounted already – you will see those on the accessories list.
Retiring Lists – 2 ways to view
(if you see a FRA or ESP or DA, those are being retired in english as well as other languages)
- Retiring Stamps (Available April 21-June 4, 2014, or while supplies last)
- Retiring Accessories (Available April 21-June 4, 2014, or while supplies last)

For 5 days only, April 21-25th, everyone gets free shipping on ANY order! No minimum, No maximum. ANY Retiring or current merchandise from any catalog or online promotion.
How To Place an Order with Me. You can place orders 3 ways (in no particular order)
1. You can type up your order and send me an email. I’ll need to get a payment from you, whether a check or credit card (visa, MC, Discover or Amex) so if you aren’t comfortable emailing that, call me ! I can keep it on file if you like so next time can be easier for you.
2. Call me! I have a local Florida phone number 407-435-3135 and also a toll free number 1-866-460-4902 to give me an order by phone. I can answer questions about the products or help you with a particular project, too!
3. Order online 24/7 on my DBWS (Demonstrator Business Website). You will get the best deal if you order directly from my website at www.lindaheller.stampinup.net. There is an awesome clearance rack online if you like to shop for the deals!
Have you signed up for the new catalog? You can do that here so I can add you to the list!

Hi all! I made these 2 cards a while back for a sketch challenge using the Stampin’ Up scallop tag topper punch.
I do love that Woodgrain background stamp! Everything on these are Stampin’ Up:

For this one below, I used So Saffron card stock and ink with the Woodgrain stamp. I punched the tag from the embossed SU paper called Naturals Composition. Coral, Garden Green and Saffron markers for the flower (from Simple Stems) and Baked Brown Sugar ink for greeting.

The card below is square, 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. Crumbcake card stock and ink for the woodgrain stamp, Pacific Point for the circle image. (I haven’t used Pacific in a really long time!) Soft Suede cs for the scalloped tag, embossed with the honeycomb folder. The little gold pearls are just the white pearls and I colored them with my gold Sharpie pen. Then I threw a few sequins on there.
Where’s the flower stamp from? Serene Silhouettes, page 64 of the SU annual catalog. I hadn’t used that stamp from the set at all but the others are well used!

Here are this week’s Stampin’ Up Weekly Deals! 4/8-4/14 Only.

Here’s my 2 cents on this week’s deals:
I think the Punch Pack is a staple! I use those 3 a LOT. I’m worried they are on sale since it may mean they are retiring in May when the Retiring stamps list comes out. I hope not or if they do, I sure hope they replace them with something as great!
The sparkle glimmer brads (they should really be called glitter brads) are fun but the legs sometimes stick together. I have to use my paper piercer to pry them open since they are ‘glimmered’ all the way down the legs. Annoying but the brads look nice once you get them on the card 🙂
Can’t go wrong with Baker’s Twiner, ever.
The Gingham Wheel is a nice border. I unmounted mine and use it on a block (members, see my video in Stamping School)
I used the SU mounting foam after I ripped it off the wheel. I use them so much more that way!
That “make a cake” stamp set is small. I got it free at a conference 2 years ago and it’s still unused. The tiny butterflies are useful but I have yet to use the cake. Maybe it’s just me.
The Secret Garden framelits go with the Secret Garden stamp set on page 94 and also 2 of the stamps from the Simple Stems in the Occasions catalog on page 33. I hope this means that they are making more flowers to coordinate with it for the next catalog?

Stampin’ Up introduced 2 new photo-polymer stamp sets today. (those are the see-through clear stamps that come on a sheet with no case) They are both on trend with their hand drawn, doodled style. To see the flyer to print their true size (both on one sheet), click HERE
Sweetie Pie, Set of 12 for 13.95 # 136849
(I do hope they come out with the rest of their bodies soon:)
Sweetie Pie Frames Set of 14 for $13.95 # 137121
and on to this Week’s Weekly Deals! Some good ones this week, too…

To see them individually, go HERE . Once there, click on each item for description and item number. Of course here are m 2 cents on this week’s deals. The circles dies are a good deal but you get more circles with our Circles Collection Framelits instead. If you are wanting to cut fabric or metals or thicker craft materials, then these dies are the way to go.
The Dress form Pop -n Cuts will need the base to pop into. See page 188, for 39.95. You will also need extended cutting plates for your Big Shot to cut it all.
Love the 2 embossing folders and the Set of 2 mini folders on sale this week. The mini set of 2 measure 4-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ each and the oval coordinates with the Extra-Large oval punch we still sell.
The Peek-a-boo die is a great deal, too. I still use mine and it can’t go out of style. It creates windows and doors, perfect for Advent calendars, etc. Uses standard cutting plates.
Off to work on this week’s Stamping School videos. I have NO idea what to create this week and being on vacation has gotten me off my stamping mojo. Send me some artsy vibes!
