I had some time to play yesterday! These board books are in the Stampin’ Up Occasions Mini Catalog and what a surprise to get them and see how BIG they are! (er, yes….I did read the fine print in the mini catalog where it says what size they are but it’s just not the same as having them in your hand!)
Here is the video:

Each book comes with 8 die cut chipboard pieces for $4.95! What a deal! I think most paper crafters will use them for scrapbooks, which will be awesome. I have a demonstrator get together this Sunday and wanted everyone to be able to take one home. Then I realized I needed 50 of them so I quickly slapped the nonsense out of me once I calculated $5x 50 and came up with some other projects using only one piece for each person:

I found the heart Post-It notes at the big T store in the office area. I used the glittery Sending Love DSP and pink satin ribbon.

I used the Sizzix large circle die to cut out dry erase material. (you can buy it on a roll at a teacher’s supply or office store) I used the circle scissor to cut the layers of colored card stock. The photo frame could be any picture but someone sent this to me on email about friendship. It’s a boxer and a goat! Too cute…
Here is another sticky note holder using the scallop frame:
I used the Sweet Pea DSP and added some of the little embosslit butterflies. I cut the sticky notes with the scallop #2 die.
Thanks for tuning in!

LInda…Great video. Thanks so much for sharing the projects ideas and highlighting the new DSP. I’m inspired to get my glue stick and sanding block out and start creating.
LOVE this. Can’t wait to try it. Is the photo of the dog and the goat one that could be downloaded somewhere? It is so cute and perfect for a friendship board.
Linda … I just googled the photo and found it here:

Thanks for sharing. That’s such a terrific idea to make a bunch of gifts out of one product.
Hi, Linda! Thank you so much for sharing this great project! Love, Love, Love it. Went out shopping for supplies this afternoon – the office supply stores around here do not carry the dry erase sheets and we don’t have any teacher supply stores either. I did, however, fine them at JoAnn.com – Wallies Dry Erase – self adhesive 9″ x 12″ sheets – 2/pkg – $9.99. Just in case someone else thought that feature of the project was as awesome as I and is having the same problem finding the supplies. We have 6 or 7 JoAnn stores within an hour’s drive – only one of them – a Superstore – actually carried the product.
Thank you! Several has asked and great to know where they can find theirs!! Linda
This is a GREAT idea to use for my upcoming Open House. I absolutely love it. Thank you.
