(not sure why my pictures are coming out a little blurry from my phone but I’ll try to work on it before tomorrow)
Since I last posted, I have spent a few hours outside working on my swaps with friends, ate a wonderful lunch and then chatted more with friends. This was our view while we worked on our swaps (and I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t done 🙂 I saw many people working on their swaps today!
At 6 PM this evening, Stampin’ Up! had a welcome reception for us. We had to meet up with our team, which mine is called Silver Sands Island. There are seven us on our team and each one of us had a question printed on a card. we needed to remember what the answers were for each team member! (and those of you that know me, know how great my memory is…not:)
It was a fun way to get to know the other girls and then we went off to dinner inside where Stampin’ Up! had beautifully decorated tables and a little present waiting for us:
Look at the personalized stamp for each of us on the table!
Can’t forget to tell you about dinner! A huge, white tin bucket filled with crab legs, shrimp and all sorts of nautical delights!
A memento to take home with us, our punch glass with our logo. I hope I can get it home without breaking it!
And the icing on the cake was to come back to the room and discover my first pillow gift! I’d love to show you the stamp set but I cannot show you the stamp set but I need to keep that off the Internet and tell all the demonstrators can see it in the next catalog. BUT we will be using it for our make and takes tomorrow and I’ll be able to show you the completed projects using it!
It’s 11 PM here in Utah and I still have to put dazzling details glitter glue on 125 bird for my swap so I better get to it!
Since I try to post something with stamping each time, here is a card that I saw on the display shelf today:
Go stamp something!
Linda
