I’ve taken a few weeks off from posting. I lost my dad a few weeks ago and even though I knew it would happen one day, it’s always too soon to lose someone we love. I was so touched with the many, beautiful cards mailed to me when my friends heard about his passing. I debated on whether to post some of them here because I didn’t want it to seem like I was promoting product at all. I usually share swaps, my birthday cards and other occasions so this is a natural part of life, too. My hope is that these inspire you with card layouts and sentiments so when a friend loses a loved one and needs a card hug, you will have them on hand. I’m not adding the artist’s name under the pictures this time – hope that is ok with my friends who made the cards. I also received some beautiful store bought cards that I will treasure also. Thank you for sending them to me and the beautiful sentiments inside, also. Linda

So sorry to hear of your loss. It’s always difficult to lose someone we love. My dad has been gone for 25 years and I still miss him. Remember the good times, no one can take those memories from us!
So sorry to hear of your loss. I, too, lost my Dad a little less than a year ago. Someone told me at that time that it was all right to keep talking to him and I do, almost everyday. I miss him every day of my life and probably always will, but that just means how very special of a person he was and I am sure your father was the same. I will keep both you and your father in my thoughts. Brighter days are ahead.
So very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful cards!! Take care.

Linda
First let me say how sorry I am that you’ve lost your dad, Linda. His passing has left a hole in your heart that no one else can fill. You have my sympathy.
Thank you for sharing your cards. Sympathy cards aren’t the ‘fun’ ones to make, but we all need them from time to time. In my age group the need for them vastly outpaces the need for baby cards for example, and yet there are fewer ideas out there. Thank you.
