Aloha! Yesterday was a relaxing and non-stamping day. We went to a state park called Hanauma Bay, which was reported to have excellent snorkeling and sightseeing. It did not disappoint!
Dawn, Janet and I found a shady spot under a big mangrove tree. I was totally enamored with the little mongoose running around! Apparently Hawaii brought the man to take care of the rats, which are nocturnal The mongoose are not :-). I’m happy to hear that Hawaii is snake free and I did not see a single rat however there were so many feral cats around, no wonder the rats are scarce
After coming back from the beach, Matt took a ukulele lesson:
He’s a drummer but loves all music!
Spinning the wheel yesterday and the hospitality room and I won these new adhesive backed, metal rimmed pearls! These are going to be one of my favorite new accessories in the new Stampin Up catalog. (the yellow that you see is the paper for the adhesive on the back)
A great pillow gift to document our Hawaii vacation is a project life stamp set and collection.
Day 5
Today was a fun Stamping day for the demonstrators on the trip as we had our share fair. Stampin Up sent several demonstrators new product in advance to create some fun projects for us. I won’t show all of them as many will use them for class resources but I will show you a few:)
Eldonna Epp is one of my favorites and is so talented! She used our new Bohemian designer series paper and a sweet match card Post-it note holder for tagging pages in our new catalog
My good friend Georgia Giguere came up with a really cool pop up card using a new stamp set that coordinates with the hand picked framelits
Michelle Zindorf Showed a cool shaker box and tag…gorgeous!
Stampin Up’s own Sarah Douglass showed how to extend the hamburgers box die and made some cute projects with it:
Tonight we have our final dinner at the Pearl Harbor USS Missouri. I believe it’s supposed to be a barbecue of some sort, so I’m feeling hungry already!
Thanks for tuning in while I’m on vacation. Go stamp something! Linda
thanks for sharing your trip with us 🙂
Hanauma Bay is where they filmed Blue Hawaii with Elvis. Enjoying the photos since that is where we spent our honeymoon.
That’s so awesome !
