My last project of the 12 ideas for ornament stamps/dies had to be tags.  They are useful and super easy to do!  This one opens like a card:

Fold a piece of white card stock in half, a little bigger than your ornament.

Open the card and stamp the ornament as close to the fold as possible. When cutting the ornament, the die should be above the fold so you don’t get 2 tags instead of 1 folded tag!

Here’s a trick for cutting the silver glimmer paper strip.  Stamp the ornament on the BACK side of the silver glimmer paper. (The ink won’t dry so watch your fingers).  Now you have guidelines to cut the silver glimmer paper and glue onto ornament.

(see the silver glimmer strips glued onto the ornament?)

Align the framelit or cut out the ornament by hand, leaving the top of the fold so the tag can open and close.   I ended up trimming the ornament with scissors a little bit also.

I stamped the ornament again in Rich Razzleberry and trimmed out a decorative strip to glue on.

Fun to make in other colors too!

By the way, if you are one of my Stamping School members, one of this Sunday’s project videos is a gift set of 9 tags using the Peaceful Pines stamps and framelits.  My team and customers get Stamping School free as a thank you for ordering with me!

Thanks for stopping by!
