I am lucky to participate in card swaps across the country with other demonstrators like me.  I thought I’d share a few of my favorite Halloween cards I received lately and a little bit about each one.

I love this layout and card by Sandy Carlson.  (you can see it also on the treat bag below) The large polka dot folder is usually seen on birthday cards but it looks perfectly at home here on a halloween card.  It uses the Spooky fun bundle below.  $36.75 for both the stamp set and coordinating framelits item #144437

Here’s another swap from Amy Combs.  She used the same stamp set and randomly stamped the background in pumpkin pie ink on pumpkin pie paper rather than use designer paper.  I like the strip of washi tape under the greeting and the silver foil paper for the fence.

final-2

I love the blue background on the card below by Micah Paige Stewart.  She used soft suede to cut the tree and a gold glittery moon with a circle punch.

Here’s a detailed card by Tina Jones using all the dies in the set! Another blue background using Island Indigo card stock.

Tip:  You may have Thoughtful Branches or Sheltering Tree stamp set…both of those make great spooky tree silhouettes for your halloween cards!

By the way, don’t forget about the Clearance Rack sale online!  Go HERE to see what Stampin’ Up is cleaning out from last year’s catalogs.  Here’s a neat photopolymer set that is only 6.98 on the clearance rack: bite-meI really like the spooky spider web stamp and cat.  Here’s a few ideas from SU using this set:

Tomorrow I’ll be back with Halloween Treat ideas!
