Happy World Card Making Day!

I thought it would be fun to share my husband Matt’s first technique card video that he made WAY back in 2007.  I came home one day and found Matt in our carport making his own Man Card.  Totally his idea and I was in tears laughing by the end of it watching him incorporate all his techniques in his ‘creation’!

(this is a spoof on card making so don’t actually try this at home!)

Hopefully you can find a little time to day to stamp a card for someone… without power tools!

Buy 3 of the regular designer paper, get 1 free for the month of October!

Back in December 2015, I made a video for easy origami pouches for treats

You can see the original post here  HERE

but I thought I’d repost my video for using the designer papers! They would be fun to make with holiday papers.

Here are the different sizes:  Red pouch uses 12 x 12 paper and pouch is 7″ wide x 8-1/2″ tall. Green is 8×8 paper and pouch is 4-1/2″ wide x 6″ tall.  Blue is 6×6 paper and pouch is 3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.

You can view/print the flyer HERE

There are 2 great items to get if you don’t have them already. One is the Designer Tin Of Cards Project Kit Item #141651. It’s normally 27.00 and during the sale, only $20.25!

I plan on getting some for gifts and stamping them myself – who wouldn’t love to have pretty cards and envelopes in a cute tin, all ready to send out? I may even put postage stamps on them to make them even more special.

It includes all you see above in the cute tin, although you will need to supply inks and stamps of your choice or get the Designer Tin of Cards Stamp Set (not on sale) It’s $26 and photopolymer so you can see through them to stamp easily:

For ink colors, if you have these or similar colors, they all work with the kit: Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Dapper Denim or Night of Navy, Emerald Envy. Mint Macaron works well also. It’s a pretty kit and lots of stamps and colors will work with it!

I know lots of you already have the Envelope Punch Board, but if you are a new stamper, it’s a tool that I recommend for creating all your own envelopes in any size! The World Card Making Day sale also includes Envelope paper in 2 groups of colors (see end of post for items)

It’s on sale from $20 to only $15!

Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up showing how the punch board works. (if you are on Stamping School, I have a bunch of projects in there using it also)
