I was goofing around with the oval framelits and this card appeared. Love these happy stamping discoveries. I inked the leaves in Crushed Curry and used a sponge dauber to tap on some Old Olive, Cajun Craze and a little Pumpkin Pie inks to the stamp before pressing to the vanilla card stock.
After I stamped the vanilla card layer, I placed 2 ovals on my magnetic platform and ran it through the Big Shot. By removing the 2 cut oval rings and layering on Espresso card stock, it gave a cool, spotlighting type technique.
Then I needed something in the middle so I embossed the greeting on vellum card stock. Be sure to use an Embossing Buddy on the vellum first before inking with VersaMark and using the gold powder & heat tool.
My leaves are just starting to turn here in the mountains and it’s really exciting with tinges of yellows and reds poppin up. Many of you see this every year but after 25 years in Florida and now living in the mountains, all I can say is wow….beautiful!
Here’s some of the supplies I used, all Stampin’ Up of course!
