You can whip up several cards in an hour with the Beautiful You stamp set! Sometimes it’s useful to have a quick and easy layout on hand.
I showed several techniques using this set at the Stampin’ Up On Stage event in Atlanta, GA back in November. I posted all my samples in one post back then and told you I would post them in more detail once the catalog went live. (You can see my original post here with all the samples https://lindastamps.com/2016/11/09/video-beautiful-you-watercolor-dress/)Â
I was inspired by the sample in the Occasions catalog, page 24. I just switched out the rectangle for our pretty label framelits, added designer paper and a solid card stock card.
The stamp set has 2 ‘scribble’ stamps that create a fast watercolor-like wash over the images so you don’t have to color by hand if you don’t want to:
The smaller scribble stamp fills in the skirt, umbrella and also over phrases:
I added a little bit of white twine, curled it with my scissors, and popped it up on dimensionals.
I love how all of our papers and inks coordinate so it takes the guess work out of choosing colors. When it doubt, use monochromatic color schemes!   I used the Subtles inks, card stock and the Subtles patterned paper stack.  The cards are A2 size, 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4 for a side fold card. The patterned designer paper is 4 x 5-1/4.
Here’s the ingredient list to make the cards:

Beautiful set of cards. I don’t have this stamp set, but hope to use the layout and colors. Thanks for inspiring us.
🙂
What a great idea, I love how these all look. Totally doing this for my shoebox swap ASAP!
Nice quick and easy cards, thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Patsy!
Glad I could help! They were really easy!
I think it would work with lots of stamp sets for sure
