Hi all! I forgot to post this card back in January. It was a pretty card I stamped with some friends when I went back to Florida. My favorite thing is to “mattify” the silver foil card stock to create a brushed nickel or distressed metal look.
I find that holding the die cut dragonflies in my hand and gently rubbing with a fine grit sanding block is the best way to keep them in one piece. We used to sell the sanding blocks but now I get them at Sally’s Beauty supply in the nail section.
I used the Stitched circle die to cut a 3″ circle, leaving a flat edge for the side of the card.
I love the Dragonfly Bundle! Great selection of greetings and pretty font and the bee is nice, too. (anytime they are not buzzing near me is great:)
See my full supply list at the bottom of the post if you want to add the dragonflies to your own collection. Remember it’s still Sale a Bration until the end of March…free gift with $50 purchase! Click here and here to see both brochures of freebies!
Time for some Spring Cleaning!
If you have been with me a while, you may remember Saturdays here on my blog where I posted my retired stamps for sale each week. I’ve got a bunch more to find homes for!
I’ll post them at 10 am this Saturday morning (eastern time) You can come here to the blog at www.lindastamps.com to see the most up to date lists.
