I just received my pre-order of the NEW Blendabilities! Aren’t they pretty? They will be available sometime in June hopefully with our new catalog. Sets of 3, $11.95 a pack. (US)
There must be some chatter out there about these because over the weekend, I had 5 emails asking me what they are and when they are coming so I made a quick video:
(if viewing from your email, you may need to come to blog to see video)
They don’t take the place of our current markers, which are water based. These are alcohol based like Copics and will offer another coloring medium for SU lovers that coordinates with all of our colors easily.
Skin Tones, Set of 6 will be 22.95 when they are available.
This is a great example of how the Blendabilities work better then regular markers direct to paper. On the left is using the new alcohol markers. On the right, regular markers.
*by the way, I talked about the color remover. It really should be called a Color Mover – it doesn’t erase as much as ‘scoot’ it back into your coloring area. Wanted to clarify that as some people thought I meant it was an eraser. It did erase other spots for me if I went back and forth with it but not red!
I got a little crazy with the velcro dots but it does keep them all together until I find a better storage solution!
Be sure to use only Memento Tuxedo Black Ink with the Blendabilities, not StazOn which bleeds. The new Memento pad and refill will be available to customers June 2nd.
Goofing around on other papers with the new markers….SU suggests Whisper White.
Memento took 15 minutes to dry on vellum but it did dry eventually!
Another example of how vivid the new markers are! The left and middle were done with ink/blender pen and aquapainter/ink pad. The right is the Cherry Cobbler set of 3 Blendabilities.
Now for something you can buy this week!
Good from 5/6-5/12 Only
My thoughts on the deals this week….
I love the stitched ribbon, sad that it is going. Great deal on that ribbon since you get 10 yards! Perfect for bdays and holidays. The hearts a flutter stamp set is great but you will want the framelits to go with it – #130159 $24.95
So the deals this week may cost you a little more since you need things to go with them 🙂

Here’s a fun new tool for your crafting toolbox and it’s just released today!
This little guy makes an impression! Literally. It’s a mini big shot that only embosses. 29.95 Item #132657
Now, it can never take the place of the Big Shot, which cuts everything as well as embosses. This lil guy would be good for crops or craft days where you want to take an embossing machine with you. It’s light! Or maybe I may get one for my classes when I want to emboss at one table and cut with my Big Shot at another table.
Here’s a quick video from SU:
Just because it’s SAB time doesn’t mean there aren’t Weekly Deals every Tuesday!
Here are this week’s sale items good through February 3rd.
Whew! That was a LOT of good things, right? Thanks for sticking with me to the end:) If you want anything you see here, call or email or order online HERE!
This is a stamp set that makes me smile when I use it!
I had some time in December to play with these critters and this is one of the cards that happened. I tried watercolor, other mediums but I just wasn’t getting the pop I wanted until I tried paper piecing it. I know it’s a lot of fussy cutting but once you get into it, it’s kinda fun!
Here’s all the critters in the set and you can find them on page 21 of the new Stampin’ Up Occasions catalog:
I’ve had quite a few of you purchase one or both of these Stampin’ Up flip card Dies so I thought I’m make a tip video for how to add layers as well as extend the card to create a flap and writing area. (I’m not sure who came up with that original idea to add the flap but well done!)
If you are viewing from your email, click HERE to see video on my blog.
I received many great swaps using the new thinlits and as promised in the video, here are a few of my favorites!
This cute little guy was a swap created by Jill Hilliard. The reindeer is from the SU Holiday catalog called Color Me Christmas
This pretty snowflake card was created by April Lopez. The scallop comes with the circle card thinlits and April used it with SU Silver Foil Sheets.
I wish there was a name written on the back, maybe Iina Lee? I think it had a cello envelope with her label on it, which is long gone!
I love getting a swap every year from Georgia Giguere, who puts her family photo inside! Use the Sizzix Circle framelits and the magnetic platform to make easy circles!
Everyone loves this cute owl punch card by Linda Gutierrez!
Sandy Hancock made this one and I love how she used the SU Stripes embossing folder on one side of the flip card.
Here is the extended version of the flip card I showed in the video. It’s by Sue Kempter-Miller.
If you don’t have the thinlits yet and would like one or both, here are the 2 options available so far:
Circle Card Item #133480 $32.95
Label Card Item # 133479 32.95

The latest cool tool from Stampin’ Up is available starting today! It’s called the Envelope Punch board:
Watch Brian Pilling from Stampin’ Up score and punch envelopes. It’s easy and makes 66 sizes of envelopes!
I have one here in my stamp room but with my 2 eye surgeries, I’m not focused enough yet to try it out. This week I should get my hands on it and play! I was thinking I wouldn’t need it with my diagonal score board but this is much easier and I LOVE that it punches the notches out so nicely. It’s also more compact and with at least 66 sizes, that’s pretty cool!
Envelope Punch Board Item #133774 $19.95
It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different color and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create!
It’s small and lightweight; this makes it easy for you to take it on the go! Portable and easy to store.
It even has a slick scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.
It’s easy to keep it all together; the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don’t have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won’t lose them!).
The price is terrific-especially for a tool that does so much!
It will be in next year’s annual catalog, so it’s here to stay.
(if viewing from your email, you may need to come to the blog to view video at www.lindastamps.com)
These little kits were SO easy to make! Everything is cut and ready to go in the 2013 Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog, page 27. You will need a Coastal Cabana and Real Red ink pad, glue dots and the stamp set. (or substitute for a stamp set you already have) There is a bundle for both the kit and the clear mount stamps # 133287 for only 17.95. (available in wood mount for a little more) Just the kits are #132158 for $9.95. Kit makes 8 cards and even includes a pre-cut envelope liner!
I did a quick video right out of the package and watch to see how to line up the blue accents on your clear block:
Here is the bundle pic with the stamp set and all you get!
Call, email or shop online to get yours! Make it EASY on yourself this year to send out super cute holiday cards!
I’m popping in for just a few minutes today! I’ve been cutting paper like crazy, finishing up all my 6×6 Paper Samplers/Shares! They are ALL mailed as of this morning and thank you to all who participated with me again this year. I’ll be doing Buttons and Ribbons in a few weeks so stay tuned.
