Video: An Apple a Day

This is an easy fold for a front pocket gift card and the apple just seemed perfect for a Teacher thank you!

As Sale-A-Bration is nearing the end this month, Stampin’ Up has some new Dies coming September 1st!
(These will be for a limited time, while supplies last)
The 6 new die sets coordinate with current stamps sets.

See the Perfect Partners sales Flyer HERE!

I pre-ordered the Apple Blossom dies to go with the stamp set, Apple Harvest, which is perfect for living here in NC.
Our apple festival is coming up in 2 weeks!

Here is my video showing the dies and 3 alternate ideas using them:

A few more ideas I stamped to show in my video:

I’ll be heading to New Orleans for a Stampin’ Up Leadership conference next week!
Should be a lot of fun but I’ll be scheduling the piggy video to post on Saturday while I’m gone:)

Video: Hidden Pop Up Gift Bag Card

I can think of so many uses for this fun card!
It’s a pop up, but folds flat and fits a gift card or thin chocolate or cash….I found myself walking around the stamp room to see what fits in there:)   I was inspired my friend and team member, Debbi Muche, who made this pretty card:

She used the Hues of Happiness designer paper from Stampin’ Up and it has the sweetest lil’ gift bag inside!

It’s hard to improve on her design, it’s perfect!

I made one of my own with the Lovely Linen Designer paper and a great stamp set called Amazing Year.
I love the bold lines and sentiments in this set!  It is easy to color, too!

Here is my video!

Video: Pretty Cards using Lovely & Lasting Punch Bundle

HI all!
I took last weekend off from uploading a video so I could finish up my Mini Catalog product shares.  Thanks to all who particpated again this year!   They have all been mailed and should have arrived by today!

This week I created some pretty cards using the Lovely & Lasting punch bundle.  This has really been my most used bundle since the new annual catalog started a few months ago!

The 3 cards I created have all the same, basic layout but with some varying techniques.
My favorite might be this Polished Pink/white/Black card with clear embossing powder!

Click HERE or below on the video to see the cards, some Stamparatus tips and the new embossing tray:

Video: Splendid Days Suite

This week I played with 2 new products coming out July 1st!
A new suite called Spendid Days in the July – December (holiday) mini catalog on pages 64-65.
This suite can be all season, and I’m not ready for winter yet!

Sale-A-Bration is also coming July and August!  These pretty cards/envelopes will be freebies for a $50 purchase!

I love the delicate details and soft colors.  I have rarely used our Soft Sea Foam color…it’s so pretty for summer!

Here is my video showing this suite up close and the project:

Before I head into this week’s video, Stampin’ Up announced Free Shippiing on June 21st!
Orders need to be $75 or more to qualify and is for customers as well as demonstrators.   Nice Surprise!
Check out the Last Chance products before the Jan-June catalog retires on June 30!

I love a hidden message or a pull-out sentiment!  This is an upcoming stamp set called Forever Friendship!  It’s in the July-December mini catalog coming out July 1st!

I loved the Cardigan sentiment and I also love the Plant sentiment:)

My second version of the card-again is this bright color combo of Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party.

I used the Picture This rectangle die for the layout, added some In Color designer paper behind the openings.

Video: Watercolor Stamping

Hi all!   It’s bear cub season here in our woods
of NC!  Yes, we are careful and steer clear of mama bears but catching a glimpse of a cub from afar s always a delight.  Just a few days ago a BIG mama bear and her 2 cubs walked through the neighborhood.
It’s also getting close to Father’s Day and I have a few guy birthdays coming up in June so it seemed a good time to ink up my Stampin’ Up stamp set, Wildlife Wonder!

It’s a beautifully sketched stamp set.  I think I mistakenly called the wolf a coyote in my video:)  but I particularly love the bear!
In my video this week, I’m showing how to stamp then add water for a watercolor look!  I also show how to ink and add water to your stamp before stamping on the paper – gives it a blurred, soft look
Oh! I also used the new Deckled Rectangle dies…those are pretty cool.

Video: How to use the new Masking Paper

Hi all!
Before I go into my project for this week, here are the RETIRING LISTS for the January-June 30th Mini Catalog

There is a sale starting on Wednesday, June 1st with many items 50% off!

Click HERE to view the list by PDF PAGE NUMBER

(A special thanks to demo friend Deb Snyder who revised the list to larger print for us:)
(Everything is While Supplies Last)

On to this week’s project video!

It’s easily missed in our new Stampin’ Up catalog but it’s a staple every stamper should have!  It’s called Masking Paper and it’s a very lightweight, sticky paper to mask or cover up images.  It’s mostly used when we want to put flowers in a pot, for example, or omit part of a stamped image.  We have used post it notes or painter’s tape in the past but these sheets are much bigger – each sheet is 5×7 inches!

Watch my video to see how masking paper can help stack tea cups!

I forgot to show the inside of my card in the video:

Video: Evergreen Border Punch

Gold heat embossing just feels like the holidays for some reason!
I had a request from Sharon in Texas to use the Stampin’ Up Evergreen Border Punch.  It’s in the annual catalog, great for nature cards and today, for the holidays!

The white card is only 3-1/2″ white and sits on top of the gold/green card base.   It’s a fun fold of sorts that saves paper, too!

By the way, YES I will be doing a new catalog paper, ribbon and accessories share in January!
I’ll be posting those the week of December 20th!

Video: White Embossing Powder Tips

Hi all!

This week I was inspired by the Pretty Pumpkins bundle from the Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog (July-December 2021 catalog)
If you don’t have a fall pumpkin set yet, this is a nice one.  If you have one similar from previous catalogs, get it out and try embossing in white!   It’s so pretty and you can use lots of colors as the base.

In this week’s video, I compare a few ways to get a nice, crisp white embossed image and also how to fix spot if you miss a part of a stamped image!

The detailed tall pumpkin is so pretty in copper, gold or cajun Craze, like this sample from the home office:
