Video: Lots of Heart Bundle

Hi all!
This week I had a request to show the Lots of heart bundle on page 15
of the Stampin’ Up Jan-June catalog.
I have a lot of heart stamps, I seem to buy them every year even though I probably don’t need to LOL

I love the sentiment in the stamp set that says “my heart smiles just thinking of you”
Reminds me of so many friends on my card list!

The die set was a lot bigger than I thought! !  Watch my video below  to see them up close:

Here are some extra ideas from the stampin’ up home office
:

It snowed yesterday here in Western NC!
We don’t get a lot but our pup Otis got to run and play in it for the first time.
I couldn’t get him back in the house – he loved it!
He turned a year old mid December but he was born in Georgia so he didn’t get to experience it all before.
Stay warm!

Video: Create your own Pearlized Cardstock!

So pearly, so shiny and SO pretty!
This will work with any embossing folder but I was playing with the new Sand & Sea suite
(coming out in the January-June mini catalog from Stampin’ Up)
and had an idea to try to make my own pearly paper and it worked!

I used our new Blending brushes and our Frost White shimmer paint before embossing
to really make it a wow!

If you are ordering with me January 5th, here are the numbers for the paint and brushes:
Frost Shimmer White paint $8  #147046
Blending Brushes set of 3 $12 153611

This new sea shell suite is HUGE and full of possibilities!
There’s a big stamp set, matching dies, and a matching embossing folder which all work together!

Video: Hello Dear Friend Card Kit

In the upcoming Stampin’ Up mini catalog (January-June)
there are a few card kits for the crafter who wants pretty cards but easy to create!

This particular kit is an “all inclusive” kit.
That means it has the stamp set, all the card kit pieces, one ink spot (misty moonlight),
Dimensionals and an thinner acrylic block.
It makes 4 designs x 3 each  = 12 cards.
2 designs are 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″  cards (too small to mail)
but in my video I show how up stepped it up to a full card size.

The stamp set is very useful and all occasion.
This kit will be available January 5th, just in time for Sale a Bration freebies!
Hello Dear Friend Kit #154573  $32
I did add the Champagne Rhinestones to mine #151193 for $6, I love the extra sparkle!

Here’s my video showing them all.
I made 4 according to the directions but then created the rest on my own and varied it.

View the video HERE or click below

The original 4 according to the directions above
and the rest of mine are below

This is the little card I stepped up to the larger size

I ended up using a few of these little ones already!
They are so nice to tuck in with a gift or a meal for someone.

I had an extra vellum overlay so I added to a Fine Art Floral card.
(Flower and paper coming Jan 5th also!)

Thanks for tuning in!

Video: Dandy Garden: Joy Fold Card

I had a request to use those little ladybug trinkets (coming out on January 5th)
from the Dandy Garden suite in the new Stampin’ Up mini catalog.
Scattered on a table, they look a little buggy 🙂  but up close they are kinda cute.

Anyway, Trista emailed me and asked if I could show a card using them.
I thought if I’m putting a bug on a card, it should be useful so I used it as a closure for a
Joy fold card.  The smaller card has a right sided fold that pops up all the time,
so the little ladybug really keeps it snug:)

Here’s the video!
(project starts at 5:55)

Video: Extend-a-Card Fun Fold

I had so much fun making this cute fun fold!
It was a request for how to make how to make a sample that is in the upcoming Stampin’ Up mini catalog coming out in January.

I put my own spin on the fun fold so it would slide up and store under itself.
The card fits in a regular, A2 sized envelope and is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 when closed.

Here is the video!   The recipe/pdf is linked underneath the video

PRINT/VIEW THE RECIPE WITH MEASUREMENTS HERE

The set is called Woodland Wonder and it’s a photopolymer set that would be perfect for multiple people
to sign, like a family or office.
It’s great for birthdays, new home, graduation or any Congrats occasion!

(available January 5th for $17)
Demonstrators can preorder it now in December.

I also added a little flip up area for a place to sign the card:

Thanks for stopping by!

Changes to our Whisper White Card Stock….

IMPORTANT UPDATE on our Whisper White Cardstock

Whisper White cardstock has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long!
(at least as long as I’ve been a demo, 21 years!)

Stampin’ Up is sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White card stock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, SU wasn’t given much notice on this closure. This means we can no longer offer our Whisper White card stock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other card stocks, this only affects Whisper White.

I know Whisper White has a huge fan base and we are all a bit sad that it’s going away but Stampin’ Up jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. After dedicating many hours to source and test alternative card stock options from several suppliers, they found the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust.

It’s called Basic White!

The quality of the new  Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up.

Watch this video comparing the new Basic White to our Whisper White Cardstock:

(if the video doesn’t show in your email, click here)

What’s next?

With Whisper White going out of production, this means a number of Whisper White products will be affected.
Below is a list of all products that will be replaced with our new Basic White cardstock.
Whisper White 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Cardstock (124302)
Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (149710)
Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes (131527)
Whisper White 3″ x 3″ (7.6 x 7.6 cm) Envelopes (145829)
Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock (100730)
Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Cardstock (140272)

Whisper White Medium Envelopes (107301)

The new Basic White products will become available to purchase as soon as they are in stock.
It’s always hard to say goodbye, but I’m excited to try the new Basic White product line!
I’ll let you know when it’s ready to order.
